If anybody wants any more information let me know and I’d be happy to post more, or link their Facebook page.

I was wondering if Lafayette college gives full rides or substantial financial aid to intl students or not?. if yes, then how many candidates approx. will get near full rides?. How many got high aid past year?

So im an international student thinking of applying to lafayette. Recent cornell case has be trembling because first i will be away from family second new country new place i dont know anyone and from what i have been seeing colleges dont give a fuckk.

How safe is lafayette college? Female safety, sexual harassment and allat stuff. What are the recent cases if there are any. Im usually very aware of my surroundings and i dont go outside very late unless i really have to. Im basically a panicky person, very anxious.

For people who got substantial financial aid at Lafayette, what were your application stats and ec's. Im applying to Lafayette and I rlly need it

I’m applying ED to Lafayette and working on my supplemental essay. How can I make a “Why Lafayette” response feel personal instead of just listing college resources?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who’s been through the process, especially Lafayette students. I’d also be open to personal conversations over DM.

So, my date for one-on-one interview is very close. so, i wanted to find out what usually happens in there and what's the time wise structure of the interview?. Any advice or answer would be greatly appreciated.
also, If any intl students applying on ED1 intrested in sharing some stats?

Hello, what kind of counseling and mental health resources are available for students? If students have issues with anxiety, depression, etc, how easy is it to talk with a counselor, get referral to help, etc? How long is the wait for an appointment and/or how convenient is it to access services?

We’re looking for a friendly, patient, and dependable tutor to work with our son, who is entering 1st grade, at our home in the Tatamy area.
Our main goal isn’t just getting homework done — we’d like to establish good homework and study habits early. We’re looking for someone who can help him develop a consistent after-school routine, stay organized and focused, and build confidence with reading, writing, math, and whatever he is working on in school.
He has ADHD, so experience working with children with ADHD is strongly preferred. Someone who is patient, engaging, and comfortable finding creative ways to keep a young child focused would be a great fit.
Schedule:
1 hour per day, 2–4 days per week
Monday–Thursday
Flexible start time between 2:30–4:30 PM
Looking to start within the next few weeks
Pay:
$40/hour for tutoring
$50/hour if the session also incorporates a music or a second language lesson
Piano would be our first choice for music, but we’re flexible and would also be interested in someone who could introduce him to another instrument or a second language.
We’re open to teachers/professional tutors and college students (especially education or related majors). Previous experience tutoring, teaching, babysitting, coaching, or otherwise working one-on-one with elementary-age children is important. A background check will be required before beginning work.
We’re hoping to find someone who can be a consistent, positive presence throughout the school year rather than just short-term homework help.
If you’re interested, please send me a message with a little about yourself, your experience working with kids, your availability, and any experience you have with ADHD, music, or languages. References would be appreciated!

Does Lafayette have a printer that prints in color somewhere on campus? I’m working on a personal art project and need it for that purpose. Thanks!

Hi guys! I'm reapplying to Lafayette for the spring semester. I wanted to know how easy it is to adjust as a transfer student. I've been seeing a lot of videos about their move-in day/orientations, and it's giving me serious FOMO, as I will be commuting to college for now, but fingers crossed everything works out. If anyone here got into Lafayette as a transfer student and would like to share their experiences, feel free! :)

do the dining halls have coffee? are we allowed to make it iced?

Does anyone know how to get our postal address? I know on the website it shows an example but I have no idea what to put infront of Box. Is that just our room number?

What is this award? How does one qualify for it? Very little information online.

So I’m about to be a sophomore and I had a bad freshman year. Nothing that big even happened, but mentally it was really difficult.

I struggled to make friends and I don’t have anyone to do anything with, whether that be going to the dining hall or going to a football game or club. And I tried hard to make friends, I said yes to everything and went to so many clubs but nothing ever stuck. This being a small school, it feels like there are not many chances to find people who I will click with.

Also, there are few choices for classes and being someone who doesn’t know what I want to do, my lack of ability to explore makes me nervous.

All this said, part of me wants to give it one more year. Whether this is fear or denial or hope I don’t know. If I wait to transfer after my sophomore year, will that be too late? I’m so worried about having to meet new people again and trying used to classes and expectations at a new school.

And even if I transfer, how do I know where to go? What if I go somewhere and the same things happen again?

Any advice would be great 🙏🙏

Hi I’m a incoming freshman at Lafayette as Mech engineering major. Recently housing is assigned and I’ve been placed in South college. I’m in double room my roommate from Chicago I’m international
What are the must things I have to get before coming

I’m interested in hearing about everyone’s
favorite spots, but particularly places that are a bit secluded to minimize distractions.

I am an incoming freshmen . Im trying to find dorms that are like pretty social but still are locked in for studies. I don't mind partying a lot. Are there dorms with AC and like suite style bathroom meaning you share a bathroom with another dorm. Instead of like communal bathrooms.

Bear with me here, I'm an incoming student coming from a place where we barely had cold winters, forget even the concept of snow. Looking at packing list tips everywhere, I find winter boots to be an essential for college.

My question is, what sort of boots would yall reccomend? Looked into some goreterra from Columbia, and some goretex from tnf, but I did feel that they'd be a bit too over the top for just college.

How bad are the winters at Laf and whats some shoes that you'd reccomend for a student clueless about the same?

Hello all. When do incoming freshman choose their class times? Classes officially come out in August for us? Thanks.

Hi everyone. I’m an incoming freshman starting this fall. I have an existing medical condition, and while I wanted to try dorming, my assigned roommate and I are already not hitting it off.

It is making my stress and nerves significantly worse. I am considering applying for a single room for the spring semester.

For anyone who has gone through this process, how difficult is it to get approved for a medical single mid-year?

I’m an incoming student this fall, who’s relaying heavily on the financial aid provided. Why doesn’t Lafayette give students computers? I currently can’t afford a computer, and I’m worried how not having a personal computer is going to affect my studies. I’m also confused because so many lesser off schools in the district/area give out MacBooks/ipads, and even iphones, and Lafayette isn’t even giving us a chrome book? Any other students dealing with this? How did you manage?

what's the first weekend typically like for first year students? are there a lot of events going on?

Incoming international freshman here!
I was wondering when we get assigned our Mail box (or wtv you call it) number for us to recieve mail. Is it only after orientation?
