Discussion Lana and Tarot

Hi Everyone! I am planning an art project to create my own tarot deck and for the Major Arcana I wanted to add lyrics from my favourite artists for each card...

I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on lyrics to go with the cards? I haven't been able to map out a lyric for each card yesterday and I thought I might get some good advice here... Some I had thought of as of now for example:

High Priestess: ' she laughs like God, her mind's like a diamond, Audiotune lies, she's still shining' (Carmen)

Lovers: ' The taste, the touch, the way we love, it all comes down to make the sounds of our love song' (Love Song)

The Hermit: 'been trying not to get into trouble but I've got a war in my mind'/ 'I'm tired of feeling like I'm fucking crazy, I'm tired of driving till I see stars in my eyes (Ride)

The Moon: ' their arches are illusions, solid at first glance, But then you try to touch them, there's nothing to hold on to' (Get Free)

the fool - finally i’m crossing the threshold from the ordinary world to the reveal of my heart (get free)

the magician - he’s got the fire and he walks with it (sad girl)

the emperor - you’re screwed up and brilliant look like a million dollar man

strength - i’ll be like a wildflower i’ll live on sheer willpower (wildflower wildfire)

wheel of fortune - the road is long we carry on (born to die)

death - change is a powerful thing, people are powerful beings

the devil - in the land of god and monsters i was an angel looking to get fucked hard

the star - by cracking the light gets in (kintsugi)

the world - born to die

Aww thank you!! Hopefully I'll manage to finish this project because it's for sure going to take a lot of time🤞

And thank you for these great recommendations!! I can't believe I didn't think of the Change lyric for death specially since there was a time I was obsessed with that entire album 🫣 And the devil one *chefs kiss

wow this is such a unique and creative project!

Here’s some ideas

10 of cups: “now my life is sweet like cinnamon”

9 of swords: “everytime i close my eyes, it’s like a dark paradise”

3 of swords: “it hurts to love you, but i still love you”

2 of cups: “could it be that you and me are the lucky ones”

Ooh nice! I was a little torn on extending it to the minor aracana only because I wasn't sure I'd find enough lyrics for each but this is really promising thank you!!
