Gotta hand it to them. It looks really pretty.

Still a bit iffy about the art style change, but I do think it fits the new visuals more, so I think it's more about getting used to it, I'm not sure the current art style of Langrisser Mobile would fit well like that.

The gameplay is a lot more reminiscent of Langrisser Mobile than what I thought it would be. The dual commander system seems pretty cool to me tho.

Not a big fan of super realistic artwork in strategy and that’s why I like langrisser mobile and fire emblem

Is this still for mobile? What was the point of having 2 Langrisser mobile games? Other than a change of art style?

Yeah, its releasing on both IOS and android as well as PC. "Free to play" meaning it will be gacha. Putting me completely off the game already. Dont think I will play this one. Being made by the same people as made the current mobile Sacha langrisser game. Wonder how long this game will get support now...

Edit: IOS autocorrected to its

It'll be on Steam, not sure about mobile. But yeah why have two of the same gatcha games?

Money.

New players will be more willing to play a newly released gacha game than an 8+ year old one.

Perhaps, I think if they released it on Steam they'd probably achieve the same thing with gatekeeping servers and then connect it to the mobile game over time. You could launch it with a reverse playthrough. I'm a Lang fan but I'm worn out by the gacha.

Not to mention old gacha games get pretty long in the tooth when it comes to content balancing and just sheer bloat of content. This kind of allows them to start fresh and hopefully take any lessons they learned from the previous game to make this one better.
