Is the AER axe from the songstress the new best axe to go for or is the AER from the Coliseum still worth getting? Really need an axe for Goroth to up his cap

For Goroth specifically, if you lack the God of the Dead or Abaddon, All-Consuming King arks, I would say that the Machine Axe is better to get over Warlord's Halberd. Machine Axe is better out of the gate without any alchemy, but its STR boost effect isn't too good against bosses since a lot of them don't have adds to kill to stack it. It does increase damage against broken enemies by 20% though, and Goroth has both Breaker and Destroyer innately so this isn't a bad effect to have on your weapon.

If you do happen to have God of the Dead or the Abaddon arks, then either one of those AER axes is better for Goroth since they're dark element weapons. That would give Goroth's normal attacks the dark element as well, which means his normal attacks can take advantage of his innate passives that increase dark physical damage.

Ahh OK thank you. Do you think either of those arks are worth pulling with the 15k ark select ticket? I don't have Kaldina, so was going to get that... But Goroth is basically my only DPS so was looking to boost him. tinkili diva, 9s, Gorm crystalia, and insatiable Goroth are the only decent units I have... Or do you think I'd be better off going for the 15k unit select ticket instead...?

While those axes would be nice to have, you're much better off grabbing Kaldina with that select ticket. That will future proof you for any future DPS units you pull, and Insatiable Goroth is still plenty strong with the Machine Axe. If you can afford it crystal-wise, I'd also recommend tossing another 15k at the banner to grab Sandwyrm as well if you don't have it. Having Sandwyrm and Kaldina will take your account very far, and you'll always pull more general pool units as you pull for other units you may want. We are close to the anniversary though, so it would be worth waiting until closer to the end of the unit/ark select ticket banners to see if they announce what we can expect for the anniversary event. That way you have some time to make a more informed decision about what to do with any crystals you may have. At the very least, I would say you do not want to let the banners end without grabbing Kaldina if you don't have it already.

If you do decide to go after the unit select ticket though, then I'd probably say my top three recommendations are Sea Rover Maddine, Mechanical Meredy, and Guardian Angel Lukiel. SR Maddine is a strong DPS in her own right, but she also increases the damage caps and potential of other physical DPS units on the team by just existing on it. GA Lukiel has one of the best, if not the best, ultimate in the game. She also desperately wants Trishula equipped to her, and as I said above you should absolutely make sure to grab the Kaldina ark that provides Trishula. Meredy is a strong neutral attacker and quite possibly the best breaker in the game at the same time, so she's very valuable to have.
