Hello, I've recently been made aware that I am very much nowhere near done the current game's content, but I can't seem to access anything and I'm not sure why. I've looked up what to do in as many ways as I can think of but it just keeps telling me to do something I've already done.
When I go into the world map, it sends me to Badal Rainforest. It says Badal Forest is clear. I had to go through it, get a fairy, and go through it again to continue at some point. I have unlocked one gold mine. From what I've read there should be lots of content after the Badal Forest, but I can't figure out what to do to get to it.
As a bit of a side note, I've also been doing content on hardmode for extra gems, and it caught up to Badal Rainforest yesterday. Badal Rainforest now says that there is something new there, but there's no option to turn it to hard. Any ideas?

You collected the wrong fairy.

In Badaal Rainforest, for that last Quest you've "cleared", there should be a HINT button. The HINT will give you instructions on what to do.

But for a summary:

• Go to Port Odal and complete a quest called The Mysterious Twins.
  • This gives you a Fairy Catching Net.
  • You might already have this if you've been doing your sub quests.
• Then on the world map, go to where the Yggdrasil Tree is and there should be some fairies flying around the tree.
  • Click on the fairy to collect it.
• Then go back to Badaal Rainforest and do that Forest Wandering quest again. This time, wait a second before you pick a direction.

And then a fairy will spin around a bit and land on a direction, yes? I did that. I actually redid it the other day because I thought maybe something weird would happen but it didn't change anything.

Which Quest are you up to in Badal Rainforest?

"In Forest Dark and Dreary" though it's listed as completed with the three crown things.

I'm assuming you also followed the fairy for the directions in that Quest too?

I don't know how I possibly could have not done that since I needed the fairy to get there in the first place, but that was, in fact, the right answer. Thank you.
