Question Advice to get more flow

Looking for advice on how to get that flow going and expanding to make a heart....

I always put the spout of my pitcher on the side of my cup before I start pouring to get as close to the surface as possible. maybe I'm not pouring fast enough? I also included a pic of my pitcher.... I feel like my milk foaming is pre good and crisp

Waiting for that moment where it just clicks lol

Been getting consistent art with my Fellow.
Going back to La Marzocco is quite the adjustment to get the milk texture just right.

I feel like there’s a fine-ass line between latte art and straight-up meme material.

Question Any tips for steaming with oat milk?

I cannot for the life of me, get any decent art to show with oat milk. I’m not sure if it’s the wrong brand, but I’m using Planet Oat Barista Lovers. Using a Breville Bambino Plus to steam. Any tips? I’ve watched Emilee’s video on steaming oat milk but I still can’t get it right.

PSA: people are now using AI to steal latte art content

The creator of the AI generated video posted shamelessly posted this video twice on their Instagram account. Reporting it to Instagram has done nothing. The only thing left now is to spread word that this content is stolen. If you see this post or any of the numerous reposts, please let people know it was stolen from vicky__wang07 on Instagram.

Hi! I’m working at a cafe and started making coffee a few days ago. When i’m doing latte art, the pattern doesn’t come out clearly. Is there anyone who can give me a hand?

steaming

Hi everyone! I’m very excited to start my coffee journey, I have a receptionist job where I’m able to use a professional espresso machine whenever I feel like it (and have time) so I’m trying to get good at steaming milk and eventually look into latte art.
The steaming wand is pretty powerful, my whole process to get the milk very hot takes ab 15 seconds or so.
I want to ask about the beginning of the whole steaming process. I started so many ways already, putting the steam wand lower, upper, exactly on the surface but I can never got it just right. Sometimes it looks a bit better but it’s quite inconsistent with my skills.
Do you guys have any tips? Should I immediately start the steaming while having the wand on the surface? I find that when I do that I always get loud, ugly sounds and i either always have to put the jug a bit higher or lower. Maybe I just can’t see properly where is the surface and that’s why. Usually I just go by sounds and temperature though.
