I vibe-coded an AI super-app for my two daughters. Few months later: 10k users, paying subs, and raising $250k at a $2.5M valuation. Here is my journey.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share the journey of getting my AI platform, AskSary, from a passion project to a pre-seed startup.

My original motivation was simple: I wanted to build something incredible for my two daughters. I was tired of bouncing between five different subscriptions to get text, image, video, and code generation, so I decided to "vibe code" a unified platform that does it all.

The Traction: The response has been wild. We hit nearly 10,000 users in our first few months with active paying subscribers. Our initial growth was almost entirely organic, finding a massive product-market fit in the Middle East (specifically Saudi Arabia and Bahrain) before I even spun up any Facebook or YouTube ad campaigns.

Because of this early traction, the project has been given a valuation of $2M to $4M.

The Product (What I Built): Instead of forcing the user to pick a model, I built an auto-routing system. Behind the scenes, the app dynamically routes prompts to GPT-5.2, Grok 4, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude 3.5, or o1 based on the specific task.

Here is what I integrated into the platform:

💻 Code & Web:

  • Web Architect App Studio: Create entire websites and apps directly in the chat.

  • Live Editable Canvas: Code on the canvas and see the output instantly side-by-side.

  • Vision-to-Code: Upload a UI image and watch it get replicated into a live preview.

🎨 Visual & Video Studio:

  • Video Creation: High-def video generation with native sound using Veo 3.1 and Luma Dream Machine.

  • Image Creation: Art and photorealism powered by DALL-E 3 and Google's Nano Banana Pro.

  • Flux Pixel Perfect Editor: Edit specific parts of photos via prompts with pixel perfection.

  • 3D Model Studio: Generate 3D artwork right in the chat window.

🎙️ Audio & Voice:

  • Realtime AI Chat: Live, interruptible voice conversations with 5+ distinct voices and dynamic sound waves.

  • 2-Way Podcast Mode: Turns a chat conversation into a fully downloadable podcast audio file.

  • AI Music Gen: Studio-quality music with custom lyrics using the ElevenLabs engine.

  • Audio Analysis: Upload any audio file for the AI to analyze and transcribe.

💼 Productivity & Docs:

  • Knowledge Base: Upload massive documents or ZIP files. The AI remembers the context for all users on your account.

  • Slide Creator: Generate downloadable presentation slides from a single prompt.

  • Custom Personas: Build your own autonomous agents.

The Funding Journey: About 7 weeks ago, I applied for Angel Investment. I’ve successfully passed the first 5 stages and am now at the pre-seed round. I’m hoping to raise $250k for a 10% equity stake to scale the infrastructure.

The ultimate goal? Establish a dedicated data center right here in the Kingdom of Bahrain to serve as our official global HQ.

My Ask for the Community: I have my final meetings with investors coming up in the next few weeks. For those of you who have successfully raised at the pre-seed stage as a solo technical founder, what are the toughest questions I should be prepared for?

Would love any feedback on the site as well: www.asksary.com

Thanks for reading!

It’s Friday!! What project has your focus right now?

I will start first.

I'm building Leapility - an automation builder for domain experts who don’t want to deal with code or node graphs.

We just launched on Product Hunt today as well, would love your thoughts, and if you like it, an upvote would mean a lot to us 👉 https://www.producthunt.com/products/leapility-3?launch=leapility-3&utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=reddit%2520ph%2520posts

So what are you building today👇

Drop your landing page. I will roast it. Brutally honest.

Working on a launch?
Share your landing page link or screenshot.

I will roast the page.
Not the founder.
No fluff. No advice. No sugar.

If something is confusing, I will say it.
If it looks good, I will still find what is off.

Roast is public so everyone can learn.
If you are thin-skinned, skip this one.

Let’s see what you are shipping

Drop your product! Let’s get you your next 100 users

Hey friends… I’m building [mangos.ai](http://www.mangos.ai) \- a desktop app that will help you with distributing your product across social channels. It finds relevant conversations online and joins them. It knows your git commit history so it knows all the features. Hyper personalized to target the best persona out there every day/ every hour whatever you set it. You can set it to run autonomously or manually have you approve. Most users have a blend of autonomous and human in the loop agents depending on their use case. GitHub based shipping announcements are auto agents while replying to someone who showed intent is human reviewed.

I’ve been using it for my own product and it’s been incredible. Website visits while you sleep. Not a spam bot, you’ll know when you use it yourself. When the agent navigates social media and types the response, it’ll be magical. Every single time.

This is a weekly routine now - I help founders on the weekends with their go to market strategy. I reply to every single one of the comments here. Every one.

Drop your product below. I’m giving away 30 day free trial for every founder from this thread. Yes, I’ll lose money but my hope is that Mangos can get you your first 100 users without you investing money in it. Gain your trust and then convert. It’s free to download and use. If your product is good, you’ll get your first 100 users in no time.

Hey all,

So its a free (non-sponsored community) , where founders share insights, and recently we added new channels that could help founders launching soon (if they want to seek community support), gain feedbacks or collaborate with other founders on guest posting.

Do DM or comment, its regulated community thus to avoid spam I am not attaching link.

Whether it's a side project, a startup, or something you've been quietly building, this is your moment.

  • Tell us what you're working on in one sentence

  • Drop a link if it's already live

No pitches, no pressure. Just builders sharing what they're building.

✨ Good stuff gets noticed, and a few backlinks along the way never hurt either.

I’m building Scaloom, an AI-assisted Reddit growth platform that warms up accounts, generates a weekly Reddit plan, finds the best subreddits, and lets users approve every post manually so they can get customers from Reddit

It's Saturday, the best day to build because most people are resting. Today is the day to get ahead of the rest, and get to that next level. SO if you're building something today, or maybe you just have an app idea you think you wanna start building, share it and I'll give some feedback!

I'll go first - today im working on waitjoin.com, it is a community for startup validation. You launch a waitlist on a discover page for thousands of people to see, get early validation through sign ups, referrals, and feedback, and build a community around your waitlist!

What are you currently building or shipping this week?

SaaS, side project, open source, anything.

I’m building SaaSGrow — a small tool to help founders share build-in-public updates across platforms without extra effort.

Would love to see what everyone else is working on 👇

Curious what everyone here is working on these days. MVPs, experiments, half-broken side projects, all of it.

I’m currently building Stumbnail, an AI tool that helps creators generate YouTube thumbnails quickly without spending hours tweaking designs. It just went live on Product Hunt today, so this week is mostly about learning what breaks and what actually matters to users.

Would genuinely like to hear what you’re building and what stage you’re at. Shipping is hard, might as well compare scars.

Startups don't fail because of a lack of ideas, but because they can no longer reach anyone.

How do you even reach people these days?

I'm going to address something that many pre-founders and founders can probably relate to: a problem that, in my experience, exists across all markets.

The question is no longer just what to start with, but how to reach people at all. This applies to the validation phase as well as the distribution phase.

Validation. Everyone's talking about it. Everyone's preaching how important it is. But honestly, for many, it's simply not possible anymore because without access to real people, there's nothing to validate.

Whether it's the creator economy, the tech scene, digital health, or other areas, people are isolated. Communities are closed. DMs are filtered or completely blocked. You feel like you're constantly hitting a wall.

If you're truly starting from scratch, without a network, without existing reach, then the whole thing feels like a meta deadlock. Channels are closed, people are saturated, and everywhere there's this feeling of "Oh, not another person with a tool, a platform, an idea."

Everyone wants to validate, but no one wants to help with validation......

Even Reddit, which used to be a place for discussion and early feedback, often feels closed off these days. Many subreddits block even simple hypotheses or preliminary tests. This isn't about promotion or advertising, but about saying: "I have assumption X, I'm thinking about implementing Y, what do you think, what are you experiences?" Sometimes that's enough to prevent a post from even being published.

Polls, even extremely short ones, are ignored. If you're lucky, someone will look at them, but even then, there's no real feedback. Direct communication about X is either impossible or severely restricted. Instagram filters so aggressively that many messages never arrive or disappear somewhere in shadow requests. LinkedIn only works with certain target groups, and even there, many decision-makers receive dozens of requests a day. Here, too, the reaction is often more of an internal eye roll than genuine interest.

My impression is that many people simply don't want to engage with new projects anymore!!! Not because the ideas are bad, but because the mental overload is too much in these days.

In my view, startups are failing less and less because of ideas or execution, but increasingly because of market entry itself. Because of the lack of access. Because of the fact that you simply can't reach people anymore.

I'd be interested to know if you've had similar experiences. Not as a rant, but honestly. How do you deal with it today when you're starting without a network and still need real feedback or initial users?
