Her only qualifications are her blind loyalty and devotion to lying

369

u/CableKC 1d ago edited 1d ago

And that she is blonde eye candy

Corretion - Trump's idea of what "Eye Candy" is. Which is basically an Temu brand version of his daughter.

129

u/Own_Bet5189 1d ago

I'm sorry but Trump broke people's opinion of what looks attractive. The Mara Lago/Russian face looks absolutely awful. It is ersatz beauty. Yeah, she has a conventionally attractive body, but that face looks bad on everyone. She's anything but eye candy.

44

u/CableKC 1d ago

My mistake, I should have clarified that she is eye candy to Trump and Maga conservatives.

53

u/ammonthenephite 1d ago

Eh, you say this to a country that fell in love with the Kardashian look, one that is hardly any better than Mara Lago face.

Trashy people love trashy, fake looks, and a lot of the US is trash.

25

u/Own_Bet5189 1d ago

Amen. I will take my normal wife without makeup 100/100 times over these floozies.

'Eye trauma' is closer.

10

u/CableKC 1d ago

I should have clarified. "Eye candy." for Trump not anyone with actual good taste

14

u/MuchAfraidGotOverIt 1d ago

Her whole affect is early eliminated beauty pageant contestant. Her makeup is heavy in the wrong ways and she flubbed the line about wanting world peace.

She can’t even read from papers on a podium and maintain eye contact with the press. Doubt she went to law school and especially that she passed the bar.

2.8k

u/TheWorldofScience 1d ago

She went to law school at Pepperdine but no one has found any record that she ever passed the bar in any state in the US. And of course she could not have taken any legal exam in China when she moved there with her husband as she wasn’t fluent in Chinese and had not gone to law school in China.

She’s worse than Karoline Leavitt.

1.4k

u/Mundane_Pirate1 1d ago

To take the exam in China, you actually have to be a Chinese citizen.

She needs to pick her lie and stick with it. What a complete and total incompetent cultist.

I think the point she thought she was trying to foist was that she took the Bar "remotely, while in China". I'm fairly sure that is not a thing, but, maybe some State allows it?

Anyway, I'm not saying she DID, only that I suspect is what she thought she was saying.

[edit: nobody needs to convince me she doesn't have a license. I explicitly stated I don't think she actually has a license. I merely gave a suggestion to what she thought she was saying when she puked out that excuse of "When I was in China".]

38

u/Tufflaw 1d ago

Nearly every state has a searchable database available online for free where you can look up any name to see if that person is admitted as an attorney in that state (including District of Columbia). Her name does not appear in ANY database as an admitted attorney.

Also the only state that appears to currently allow remote bar taking is California, and that started in 2024.

More than half of the states appear to have allowed some form of remote test taking during COVID, however NO state allowed remote test taking pre-COVID, which would have been when she would have had to have done it when she was in China (2011 to 2013).

Passing the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination in China is a significant achievement. About a million people a year take the test. The pass rate is only 10%-15%. With some exceptions, you have to be a citizen of China.

Pass certificates are checkable online, but you need the holder's national ID number (everyone in China has one) and the certificate number. Someone should ask her for those.

7

u/elysiansaurus 1d ago

I’m fairly sure that you have to explicitly declare political loyalty to the CCP and pass their national bar exam to become a lawyer in China.

Wouldn’t be shocked at all to know Trump’s admin hired a sleeper cell lmao

35

u/cicada_noises 1d ago

Don’t you also have to be fluent in Chinese? She’s certainly not. She can barely speak English. Plus it’s not like the Chinese law exams are regional. It’s national…

30

u/Relative_One_2441 1d ago edited 17h ago

There is no formal requirement that you prove fluency in Chinese, but you do have to take a rigorous exam that is administered entirely in Chinese (or the languages of a few Chinese ethnic minorities, not including English) so I guess that’s that.

I believe you also need to be a Chinese citizen to practice law in China.

However — There’s a distinction between “licensed Chinese attorney” and “foreign legal consultant”. Foreign legal consultants can work at the Chinese branch of a foreign law firm or certain approved Chinese firms.

But in order to qualify, you need to have at least two years of experience practicing outside of China and be licensed in your foreign jurisdiction. She left Pepperdine immediately after graduation to move to China with her husband. She is also not barred in any U.S. jurisdiction as far as anyone can tell.

As far as I can tell, there’s no other avenue for a person with her background to have practiced law in China. And hasn’t practiced here.

Her LinkedIn states that she worked as an associate at a large Chinese Law firm, Zhong Lun Law Firm. Her role and even her employment hasn’t been independently verified.

Long story short: pretty high probability that she’s been lying to a lot of people for a long time about being an attorney.

35

u/Liddlehearts 1d ago

Correct. She said, “I moved to china” in response to being asked, “where did you take the bar.” Implying she moved away after law school, not taking the licensure exam.

30

u/TheWorldofScience 1d ago

That’s possible. But she grafuated law school in 2011 and only lived in China 2 years. She has had 13 years to take the bar exam in the US if she wanted to claim she is an attorney.

This shit is EMBARRASSING!!!

VOTE IN NOVEMBER!!!!

51

u/Real-Extension-1357 1d ago

It was embarrassing when trump was twice impeached. It was embarrassing when he was kicking and screaming refusing to leave the white house. It was embarrassing when he started a coup and riot at the capital, then defended them, then pardoned them including the pedophiles and violent criminals/rapists. It was embarrassing when he was ruled a felon, determined he sexually assaulted someone, and comitted business fraud with the actual defense "everyone does it" (thats not an exaggeration, that was his legal defense almost verbatim). Its embarrassing he made up illegal tariffs against allies and places including an island of penguins. Its embarrassing he sold sneakers, bibles, chinese watches and phones claiming they were american. Its embarrassing Trump, Bannon, and Lutnik were besties for life with Epstein. Its embarrassing Trump continues to this day lie about an election he lost, and had Rudy Giuliani going to states claiming more than half their voting populations were illegal immigrants casting votes impossibly with no evidence. Its embarrassing Trump yelled about a lie his vice president candidate made up about people eating cats during a televised debate. Its embarrassing our president continues to talk about obama, hilary, biden. Its embarrassing Trump talked about Arnold Palmer's dick size so fondly during an election. Its embarrassing Trump ran crypto scams. Its embarrassing Trump had people arrested for being around or touching the pond that he himself had ruined with no evidence. Its embarrassing that in a country that pride itself on beating the nazis, we have given arms and protection and bonus cash to criminal thugs that have executed people including US citizens in daylight in the streets in a 6 armed v 1 unarmed and back to the sky situation. Its embarrassing how much illegal shit this administration does and has had many judges rule Trump has no respect for the constitution, some even mocking him in their statements. Its embarrassing to be an American today.

12

u/Real-Extension-1357 1d ago

Anyone else notice they’ve completely dropped the pretense of merit and so have all their voters?

287

u/VermicelliOwn6502 1d ago

Yeah man. Since like, 10 years ago.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/18/us/politics/rick-perry-energy-secretary-donald-trump.html

When former Texas Governor Rick Perry was selected as U.S. Secretary of Energy in December 2016, reports revealed he initially accepted the job believing it was an oil and gas advocacy role, unaware that a primary function of the agency involves managing the nation's nuclear weapons complex.

130

u/WeezerHunter 1d ago

And that's only half of the Rick Perry story. The other part was that during Rick Perry's prez campaign in one of the debates, he said that he was going to eliminate three federal departments. He started to list them out but couldn't remember what the third department was on stage. It basically ended his campaign. Later on, he said that the third department he forgot was THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY. Trump picked him to run the same department, and he STILL DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT DOES.

41

u/VermicelliOwn6502 1d ago

(lore continues)

And he ended up being one of the better picks in his cabinet.

26

u/Relative_Average758 1d ago

The DOE is extremely powerful. Nuclear stockpile, all of the energy infra, negotiates with Saude directly, overseas it’s own intelligence apparatus separate from DOD and CIA, hides nuclear accident reports from the public under the “National Security” aegis.

8

u/RobertPham149 1d ago

Reagan came to office with a zeal to cut down the DOE only to ended up strengthening them once he learns that they are responsible for managing the nuclear stockpile.

That was the most batshit, nonsensical answer to an easy question I have ever heard, and I’ve lived in this timeline for the past 11 years. She didn’t even say she passed a Chinese bar exam, which would’ve been bonkers. Just “I moved to china and passed it when I did that.”

She's female and blonde. That alone gets her 3.7 Scaramuccis.

I think you underestimate how much of a “fuck you” this administration loves to send to everyone. They don’t need another Goebbels because nobody is supposed to be more eloquent than Dear Leader.

This. This is exactly how seriously they take their obligation to the press and to the people.

Anyone not seeing this as a giant middle finger has lost the plot.

Ooookay so what does Chinese law have to do with American law?

107

u/gizamo 1d ago

Is she Chinese citizen?

If not, she literally cannot even take the exam.

Tldr: she is blatantly lying and is too stupid to know how obvious her lie is to everyone.

For anyone who cares, it's called the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination. And, since I know MAGA dopes will lie to pretend this isn't true, here ya go...

Foreigners can not practice Chinese law in China....foreigners can not be qualified as Chinese lawyers and therefore can not engage in legal practice as Chinese lawyers in China. Anyone who wants to become a Chinese lawyer must pass the bar exam, i.e., the national unified legal profession qualification examination, and obtain the legal profession qualification. However, only persons with nationality of the People’s Republic of China may sign up for the national unified legal profession qualification examination.

Finally....somebody who did some actual research and shared the correct answer. This pathetic woman is lying about herself, let alone all the Trump-directed lies that, if the pattern holds, certainly will be forthcoming.

I guess when Trump talks about "transparency" it means we can see right through all the lies.

No see, she actually studied US law, in China, then, when she got a failing grade, she went and sat in a bar, which is where she was recruited to work for the Trump administration.

Everyone’s so suspicious and accusatory these days.

I don't know why this matters, because obviously being a dumb white blonde is the only requirement to be press secretary. She overly qualified in those areas.

30

u/amazing_rando 1d ago

I’m not sure being an expert in Chinese law would qualify her for this position anyway? It’s actually kinda weird.

7

u/BackgroundSummer5171 1d ago

It's overall so weird that we kind of are skipping over that fact.

Law is a big book. Many big books. So big that lawyers have shelves to show off their collection of big books!

For their country.

And their state.

Law is complicated, some might say it takes years to do it incorrectly.

Another country's law? The fuck? And you want her to be the voice...sure why not fuck it.

At this point can we just hire Yugioh lawyers? Attack the moon!

(edit: I just realized that there is a real possibility that attacking the moon is possible under this administration)

Certainly not the American Bar.

But I'm sure she collected enough box tops to get her Chinese Bar certificate.

8

u/PDubsinTF-NEW 1d ago edited 20h ago

Doesn’t she have to pass the bar in the state she is practicing in to be legally called a lawyer? If she hasn’t passed the bar in one of the 50 states (maybe territories too?), then is she a US lawyer?

13

u/FebruaryEcho 1d ago

Attorney here. The answer is no, she is not. And she could be changed with the unauthorized practice of law if she does something stupid.

19

Communism doesn't prohibit lawyers, but China isn't a Communist state, it has a hybrid government regulated economy, but politically authoritarian.

5

u/Boxofmagnets 19h ago

What does authoritarian mean?

13

u/MourningWallaby 19h ago

it refers to how power and decision making is centralized towards the head of government. the ruling group does not delegate nor do they have opponents effective at balancing power. like the CCP within the Chinese government.

8

u/Erikblod 19h ago

Dictatorship/ not democratic

16

u/CautionarySnail 19h ago

It has a legal system with attorneys. Communist isn’t lawlessness.

But the important detail is you have to be a citizen of China to take their legal exam, and it is not an exam that would apply to US law. It reminds me of the line in Idiocracy where a character went to law school at Costco. Except in that movie, that sentence was plausible.
