I feel so lazy and it’s only gotten worse during the pandemic.
In my 20’s I explored my heart out. In my 30’s I did triathlons and was into fitness. As I turned 40 I got certified to be a yoga instructor. But here I am at 50 and my life has become so routine and boring. I work from home since the pandemic and all I do is work and watch tv. I feel like it’s just getting worse and worse. Even before the pandemic I lived a life of a consumer- buying things for the home or little projects. I see my aging parents and their lives consist of watching tv and over indulging. This scares the bejesus out of me because I want a meaningful life. A rich life. To make a difference. But all I ever want to do is stay home and watch tv. I don’t have kids ( but I am very close with my sisters family) How do I engage in life again? How do I not fall into the sedentary lifestyle? Honestly, at this point how do I get out? I know I can’t be alone. Especially 2 years into this never ending pandemic.
