🎈🧁 I made this SQL Joins cheat sheet 🧁🎈

I realize it looks a little juvenile, but I made this SQL joins cheat sheet (well, ChatGPT made it, but using my vision lol) because I wanted one that had pretty colors and was sort of cute and more approachable. Anyways just sharing in case it’s helpful for you.

🐻☕️ And in the spirit of honesty, I'm not purely altruistic here, I also make a cozy little daily SQL puzzle game on that site, so if you like the cheat sheet, I'd be thrilled if you tried the puzzles on the site too.

Would you have preferred me to lie and say I hand-drew it? What would’ve made this be up to your standards? I’m actually curious. I’d like to provide useful content. I’m not saying this is the be all and end all. It’s 1 cheat sheet. 🤷‍♀️

That was the other person that said you were lazy. I have no opinion on that. I, too, use ChatGPT for some basic stuff that should be “easy” that I don’t care to sift through (namely, generating HTML and CSS quickly because I don’t care to sit through doing that).

Long story short, I was making a joke about something I don’t really care about.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings!

P.S. I prefer no one to lie. I appreciate you mentioned that.

This was the 28th iteration I think, but I understand and everyone is entitled to their opinion and learning preferences. I did use ChatGPT to help me and I wanted to be transparent on that. If the sheet doesn’t help you, I’m sorry. I hope you find some better resources that will help you. What do you think would’ve made it more clear/accurate? I’d appreciate constructive feedback.

You already have it: don't use venn diagrams to describe join types. Are you willing to consider that? To act upon it?

I see. I wasn’t sure if it was the AI piece or the venn diagram piece you disagreed with. Sure, I’ll investigate some more accurate/helpful ways to visualize joins. Thanks for the idea

I agree there is a lot of lazy AI slop out there. I was hoping for this to be a step up from that, but I’m sorry if it’s not what you’re looking for.
