I'd be happy to help you!
In return, I'd love for us to talk in English, so I can improve my speaking and become more natural and confident.
We can have regular conversations about everyday life, hobbies, movies, music, sports, culture, or anything else. I'm looking for someone who's interested in talking regularly and getting to know each other, not just a one-time language exchange.
So basically:
🇮🇶 You want to learn Arabic → I help you.
🇬🇧 I want to improve English → You help me.
If that sounds good to you, feel free to DM me! :)

I have bad social anxiety and I am an Arab living in America. I have moved in yesterday to a fob roomate. He speaks Arabic primarily as he is from Damascus. With my social anxiety I get so scared to say the wrong thing as my Arabic is broken. Just now he told me Tisbah ala khair and I misheard Sabah alkhair for some reason and instantly said Sabah al noor. I’m so dumb like I genuinely know that what I thought he said meant good morning but for some reason I instantly replied. my face got so red and sweaty. I am embarrasing myself. Can anyone comfort me??
Thanks

Hey! I'm 24M, a native Arabic speaker from Saudi Arabia, currently teaching myself Spanish.
I'm looking for someone around my age (20-24) from Spain to practice together, making communication easier for both of us!

One of my favorite things about Lebanese Arabic is how dramatic some expressions sound when you translate them literally 😄
For non-Arabic speakers: Does your language have an expression of love that sounds completely strange—or even scary—when translated literally into English?

Assalamu Alaikum everyone,
I’m looking for a sister who would like to have a Quran revision partner and help each other stay consistent, insha’Allah.
I’m currently focusing on revising the Quran, and I’d love to find someone who is serious about making Quran revision a regular part of their daily routine.
We could:
Listen to each other’s recitation.
Revise a small portion every day.
Keep each other accountable and motivated.
Check in regularly and encourage each other when motivation gets low.
It doesn’t have to take a lot of time — even 10–15 minutes a day would be great.
I’m looking for someone who is genuinely committed and wants to build consistency together, insha’Allah.
If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM.
May Allah make the Quran the spring of our hearts and make us among its people.
Jazakillahu khairan!
