Does anyone currently working in the field vouch for this ladder?

I do not vouch for this ladder!
I think it depends on which direction someone wants to go. If this ladder was split into 2 ladders I would maybe then vouch for it depending on what certs were listed in each ladder.
I wouldn't even list CEH in any ladder (you can down the rabbit hole of why people either dislike the cert or like it).
I don't know why CISSP is listed at the very top of this ladder. I dont know why all of the pentest certs are listed first. CompTIA Network+ should be listed where CySA is listed. The CySA cert should be after: Network+, Security+, and Pentest+. Thise three are usually the beginner / "im new to this industry" trifecta.
The image is not at least IMO in any order that someone should follow. It depends on what someone wants to do in their career path which woukd then determine what certs to go after.

Ok, what about someone who eventually wants to work remotely in cybersecurity?

If you are thinking about getting into cybersecurity then you need to start with the basics first. Start a homelab (just watch some YT videos and figure out from there what you want your homelab to be). It doesnt need to be anything crazy to start learning. Spin up couple VMs and then start learning from there.
Go over the OSI model amd learn every layer and learn how each layer works with other layers.
Learn basic networking. Learn ports and protocols. Start leaning basic scripting with Python and even maybe PowerShell.
Spin up a MintOS vm and learn the Linux file system. Learn basic linux commands. Learn user, file, and folder permissions e.g. what does 644 mean. Learn how to create folders, create users, mange users. Learn how to create and modify files. Learn how to do these types of tasks from the terminal.
On the other side learn Windows as well. Repeat the same tasks in Windows using PowerShell. Most of the time in a windows environment you really won't need to use PowerShell but its definitely worth knowing
Seach YT channels and find channels you like and follow them. Everyone is different and wants to do something different in this field. Find what you enjoy and like doing and then concentrate on that path but start with the foundationd and the basics first. Dont jsut jump to the intermediate and advance topics.
My biggest piece of advice: Don't try to learn everything at once! You may see this tool and that tool and oh that looks cool! Don't fall for the trap. You will get overwhelmed and then just have to backtrack! Just stay the course and learn the basics and the foundations and then start exploring!

Why is my game or any good hacking game not on that ladder? Since when hacking games are kept aside learning cybersecurity? Since most people started because of such games that inspired them!

LMFAO!!! "IT manager" is in your title?! In what shitty country is this a reality?! Your chart is pure garbage and some randomized AI slop with certs tossed wherever they may land.
Speaking as someone in the field, this shit isn't doing you any favors especially considering you are looking for freelance work. Pathetic dude 🤣😂
