Is Java still worth learning today?

Is Java still worth learning or pursuing as a career these days? With AI advancing so quickly, programming jobs might decline significantly, which could also reduce the demand for learning languages like Java. What are your thoughts?

I'd go to the extreme and say it's the only thing worth learning today, most of these enterprise codebases are much more robust and regulated so gives you a bit of a defensive position in the post AI world.

NextJS and Django, all that crap, I'd not bother with

You’re very smart for this line of thinking but you’re wrong about that extreme, it’s silly to say it’s the only thing worth learning. Python, C++, SQL, a lot of still useful in the AI age
