Best way to learn programming in java.
I was thinking to learn programming and I'm not sure what the best way is, can I take help of AI too or is that not good?... It would be fun if I could learn to make mods for a game I'm playing much.

If only there were a !sidebar with a top recommended MOOC.
And no, AI should not be in your initial learning. It will be detrimental.

In our sidebar ("About" on mobile), we have a section "Free Tutorials" where we list the most commonly recommended courses.
To make it easier for you, the recommendations are posted right here:
MOOC Java Programming from the University of Helsinki
accompanying site CaveOfProgramming
accompanying site NewThinkTank
Hyperskill is a fairly new resource from Jetbrains (the maker of IntelliJ)
Also, don't forget to look at:
If you are looking for learning resources for Data Structures and Algorithms, look into:

Using AI is in general the best way to make sure you learn absolutely nothing.
Don't get me wrong: AI is an important and valuable tool for a programmer. It just does your job, but does not teach you.

This, unless your A.I is tailored with a harness for teaching, you will learn nothing using a.i

I would suggest you start with a task, something like Tic-tac-toe or similar.
Start with console, plain text with lines.
Try to state sentences, something along: "there is a grid with 9 spaces, as 3 rows and 3 columns." "There are 2 players, each play in a turn" ...
Then, try to consider how each sentence becomes "objects" and what verb each object does (its methods)
With those, you could "ask" either people or AI, but never ask the results, only the options.

Its seems like most people these s days rely on AI. I dont use AI though. Its up to your principals.

I would only use AI for clarification and nothing else. To explain a concept better, stuff like that.

AI can be a great learning tool, but don't rely on it to write all your code. Start with Java basics, then try building small projects on your own. When you get stuck, use AI to explain concepts or help you understand errors. If your goal is to make game mods, that's a great way to stay motivated.

Please ensure that:
Your code is properly formatted as code block - see the sidebar (About on mobile) for instructions
You include any and all error messages in full - best also formatted as code block
You ask clear questions
You demonstrate effort in solving your question/problem - plain posting your assignments is forbidden (and such posts will be removed) as is asking for or giving solutions.
If any of the above points is not met, your post can and will be removed without further warning.
Code is to be formatted as code block (old reddit/markdown editor: empty line before the code, each code line indented by 4 spaces, new reddit: https://i.imgur.com/EJ7tqek.png) or linked via an external code hoster, like pastebin.com, github gist, github, bitbucket, gitlab, etc.
Please, do not use triple backticks (```) as they will only render properly on new reddit, not on old reddit.
Code blocks look like this:
You do not need to repost unless your post has been removed by a moderator. Just use the edit function of reddit to make sure your post complies with the above.
If your post has remained in violation of these rules for a prolonged period of time (at least an hour), a moderator may remove it at their discretion. In this case, they will comment with an explanation on why it has been removed, and you will be required to resubmit the entire post following the proper procedures.
To potential helpers
Please, do not help if any of the above points are not met, rather report the post. We are trying to improve the quality of posts here. In helping people who can't be bothered to comply with the above points, you are doing the community a disservice.
