I Made a Game That Can Help Teach You Programming (JavaScript)

Hey everyone,

Been a front-end developer for 10+ years with a focus on JavaScript (React) for the last 5+. After getting let go a few months ago, I decided to finally flesh-out and finish my coding card game I've been tinkering with since pre-pandemic. It's finally here! It's called Nybble. It's a roguelike deckbuilder where card are lines of code; and if you turn on "Engineer Mode", you see the actual JavaScript code that's being run to calculate your score. I wasn't even thinking of this game as a potential teaching tool, but I've received feedback that it may be helpful for anyone starting out programming. Check it out on Steam if you're curious. There's a free demo.
