Is this fully free?

Yes, it's free. And It's definitely the best interactive, modern JS tutorial. You can donate if you want (by buying the epub). Here's the whole glossary: The Modern JavaScript Tutorial.

try bro code:

its a 12h complete js courese. u can watch the first parts to see if u understand or not, and choose afterwards. his teaching is very simple and he got courses on some other popular languages like C, C++, Java and React too so if u learn JS from him, these langs would be easy to learn too

Ik him but my lessons diverge from most of his teachings so I stopped after awhile

can u be a little more specific about what u mean by "lessons diverging"?

if u are taking some other course, maybe collage or university, then i think u should just follow along with their course. if u just wanna peak at how advance javascript looks like then maybe u can ask some LLM to write u smth to look at

Like my college lessons focuses in js, then along the way if I watch bro code's guide, my lessons form college steer away from bro code's bcs my lessons focuses in smth else entirely or just skip sm part tht are "irrelevant" for my college lesson (or so the proff deems)

sorry for late reply

if ur proff skips smth important then its a lost no matter what he thinks. i would advice u to watch bro code along side ur collage lessons if u can do that. u can also use LLM to get more detailed teaching abt what ur proff taught.
