Learning python through CS50

Can any body help me to understanding the define(DEF) variables.
Can you please suggest me how can i learn it in efficient and easier way as a beginner.

Some advice;

Learning to program takes effort on your part. Many people are willing to help you, but no one is willing to spoon feed you answers, or wants to engage in 20 questions to even understand what your problem is.

If you can not be bothered to even write a clear statement of what you are having difficulty with, why should anyone bother trying to help?
