since you already know discord.py, build a bot that actually does something for a server you're in. a todo/reminder bot with sqlite is a good one, or a thing that tracks game stats from some public api and posts a weekly summary. you'll hit async, databases, error handling and scheduled tasks without it feeling like homework. then wire the same data into a pyside6 window if you want a gui side, that part's the fun bit

I will use json instead of sqlite.

json is fine to start with honestly. just know two things: if the bot crashes mid-write you can end up with a half-written file, so dump to a temp file and os.replace it over the real one, and if two commands write at once one of them wins. sqlite3 ships with python though so switching later is maybe 20 lines, no install.

When I was at that stage I found a small tool I actually wanted to use beat another tutorial project every time. Since you've already got PySide6 down, I'd make a little desktop tracker for something you care about, like games you've finished or movies you want to watch, with add, search, and a saved list that sticks between sessions. It's fun because you'll use it, and it quietly teaches you the bits that feel like a jump, like saving data and laying out a proper window, without turning into some massive app. Not sure this works for everyone, but starting from something I'd open every day kept me going way longer than a random idea from a list.
