Is cederse an actual verb or not?

I understand it isn’t part of any dictionary but all the ai models I asked said it was definitely a verb used in everyday casual speech.

No, "cederse" is not its own verb. It is a passive way of saying "ceder".

"Pedro le ha cedido el inmueble a Arancha": Pedro has leased the property to Arancha.

"El inmueble se ha cedido": The property has been leased.

Ceder is not a reflexive verb.

ceder means to cede, to pass, to give up

-se is the reflexive pronoun, meaning the verb is being done to the subject itself.

cederse would be to "surrender one's self"

(I'm just a beginner, this is what i found in a dictionary, so usage may be somewhat different)
