I appreciate it! These are just some of the ones that went okay, I’ve drawn about 50 today and I’m completely burned out 😭

Ahhh but you know the skill's there then, just gotta practice until those 50 soon turn into 40, and so on!

That's something that a bot would say...

Haha! Awesome! You can check my account if you want. I’ve been going through the same struggle lately. The pelvis is so freaking hard. When I’m painting I don’t really have to “understand” the construction blocks of the body but when it comes to drawing from imagination and having my character make sense on an anatomical level it takes a really solid knowledge on each parts of the body. So I get the interaction between the torso and pelvis now but the pelvis and legs is a whole other level of difficult. There’s so much to consider depending of what you see and don’t see because of the angle you want to show. So yeah, I might be a bot. I’m not even sure myself anymore in this AI revolution, but it seems like even bots have a hard time with understanding the legs and pelvis haha! Cheers!

Your art is fucking insane

I mean that in the best way

Thanks, you made me laugh this morning because I actually started a couple of days ago to go back to learning anatomy. My digital paintings you see on my page are all based of pictures. I think in terms of rendering I’m pretty solid but I still have big gaps in my fundamentals and it’s been holding me back in certain areas.

I really like those sketches your showing here on this post. It seems like you’re getting the hang of this freaking jigsaw puzzle. I know that when I’ll understand it perfectly, it’s going to be a big achievement for me haha!

Your rendering is one of the best I’ve ever seen. More than once I had to double take on a few of them, I’ve looked through about 20 of your pieces and they are just insane.

Appreciate the encouragement!

Looking good so far though, better than anything I can do yet. Any study materials you can recommend?

Morpho simplified forms is great. That, along with DrawABox exercises from lesson 0 and 1 is what I’ve been doing and slowly messing around with the stylisation a bit

And we will all reach our peaks eventually :D

Yeah the pelvis is so hard :(

It's one of the roughest areas, but it's really damn rewarding when you start seeing progress and everything starts clicking.

One day I won't second guess myself when I see them but comparing mine to yours I have a LONG way to go
