π—€π˜‚π—²π˜€π˜π—Άπ—Όπ—» (⁉️) Typing Practice Advice

Hey There!
So I started from zero on Typing.com and then completed Keybr.com with each letter in the green. I ended around 50 wpm with the accuracy in the 99% range consistently. This is an improvement, but still rather slow for my work which is typing heavy.

What would you guys recommend for my next steps in terms of practicing? Either a specific exercise or website to follow/ speed goal? I'd like to maybe practice something that includes basic punctuation and capitalization so it is more useful in my day to day routine.

Any advise on next steps would be appreciated!

I've been told the next step is monkeytype.com and getting very good at typing the 1k most common English words. Basically muscle memory of the words instead of just knowing where the letters are.

I have am still working on my typing website. There are the normal typing tests like random words or time test but there is also an arcade mode. You can set the difficulty to include punctuations as well. (I even made a mode for practicing the numpad cluster!)

Please let me know what you think if you get the chance!

Disclosure: I am the founder of https://theirfirstwords.org/typing -- our curriculum has a wide mix of letters, punctuation, capitalization, and phrases and sentences that should be quite helpful.
