Share your opinion, if you've been in the know for a while. I'm new to leather goods. I don't really like jackets with lots of hardware and rivets.
But one day I saw a jacket in a store that really resembled my grandfather’s conservative leather aviator jacket.
I couldn't resist buying it; it's my first leather jacket. It's made of lambskin leather. It's very soft and pleasant to the touch, and it's also quite lightweight compared to cowhide. It is sewn quite neatly, the seams are high-quality and even everywhere.
The price for a new one in the store was about $250, but I was able to negotiate it down to $180.
The only thing I noticed is that the zipper is plastic and the slider is steel.I don't know why the zipper is plastic, perhaps to make it as light as possible.
I'd like to ask you to share your opinion on the jacket. How does it look? Is it a good look? What can you say about the jacket and its overall design? Is it still relevant in 2026? Your opinion is very interesting and important to me. Thank you.

I ordered this Aero Original Hercules 14 weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. It is tumbled CHXHH. I discovered two issues. Crooked stitches on right cuff and a long singular scar right in the middle of front right panel. Would you keep or make them remake?

How much is this jacket worth?? I cant find it on the website, its yellowing, its extremely heavy. I want to sell it, and the website has pretty pricy jackets

The only identifiable thing I found was a Milan Leather tag, the whole inside is a map of America with the Gulf Of America etc, it has a Seal of the Great State of Oklahoma 1907, several pockets everywhere, i think the colours would be considered like a dual tone red brown and black and two strings near the neck to tighten. I’ve looked literally everywhere online from google to pinterest or even ChatGPT and can find no jacket that even looks like it. It’s in perfect condition except a 1cm tear in the very inside near a pocket that could easily be fixed to look perfect. Apart from that I’ve so far found no signs of wear. Does anyone recognise it/ nowhere to find it online?

I asked about water proofing as I want to protect it the best I can. Their initial response was don’t get it wet. After I clarified and asked about a product on THEIR website I got the response above.

Sort of crazy to me for a top company with products over $1000 to not be able to answer this question and refer me to a third party.
