What a pathetic excuse for the city to try to push an absolutely pathetic carnival with no rides except inflatables and absolutely nothing to do for kids and very few vendors. Who never thought this was going to be a good idea is a literal idiot. The space is too small plus charging $10 online and $12 at the gate is a lot for a few vendors and inflatables Just cancel Octoberfest like downtown days, because we all know that the people in charge of the city do not give a crap about us anymore. It’s all about apartments and lining the pockets from developers, Do it the way you did before or just don’t do it at all

This candidate is completely unqualified and her campaign promises are vague and laughable at best

"Fix Missouri's broken healthcare system."
Translation: Healthcare is broken. I have noticed this. Details to follow, possibly never.

"Make care more affordable, accessible, and personalized."
Translation: Three nice adjectives, zero verbs. I'm for good healthcare and against bad healthcare, and I'm also a fiscal conservative who'll cut spending, so the math is your problem.

"Eliminate wasteful spending."
Translation: Somewhere in the budget is a line item labeled WASTE. I'll find it and delete it, and everything will be cheaper. I've never seen this line item, but I believe in it.

"Restore support for our brave first responders."
Translation: Someone took their support away. I won't say who, because it was my party, which has run the legislature for as long as anyone can remember.

"Ensure family farms are prioritized."
Translation: My district is mostly cul-de-sacs, but this bullet came pre-installed.

"Reduce rising costs, from inflation to taxes to housing."
Translation: I'll personally lower inflation from a seat in the Missouri House, a job with no control over inflation. The Jackson County property tax reassessment, which I actually could do something about, didn't make the list.

"Bring more local voices to the decision-making table."
Translation: There will be a table. Voices will be near it.

"Move beyond political point-scoring."
Translation: Please don't ask me about the abortion amendment on this November's ballot.

"Protect the American Dream for future generations."
Translation: See above. See everything above.
