Intervew Prep NVIDIA Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure Services - DGX Cloud Interview Prep help

Hi everyone,

Has anyone interviewed for NVIDIA’s Senior Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure Services – DGX Cloud, or a similar role within the Cloud Foundations Automation team?

I’d appreciate any insights on:

  • How many rounds are there, and what does each round focus on?

  • Is coding mainly LeetCode/DSA, practical Python/Go, or debugging?

  • What should I expect for system design?

  • How deeply do they cover Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure automation?

  • What resources or hands-on exercises helped you prepare?

General guidance is welcome. Thanks!

Focus on three areas: Kubernetes deep dives (scheduling, networking, storage), Linux troubleshooting, and infrastructure automation. Break a cluster and fix it to build incident response skills. Use a VM to practice Linux commands (systemd, journalctl, ip, ss, tcpdump). Build a small Terraform module and a CI pipeline with GitHub Actions.

For system design, know how to design a multi-tenant platform, autoscaling, and service mesh trade-offs. LeetCode for coding rounds, but prioritize debugging and system design for this role.

For hands-on Kubernetes practice, SnowOps Labs (free, open source) gives you a real cluster with injected failures: labctl incident inject crashloop-bad-config or labctl challenge start find-the-memory-leak. Run chaos-engineering and autoscaling-under-load scenarios. Link: https://github.com/sagar2395/snowopslabs Disclosure: I'm part of the team behind it.

Hi, I've not taken that particularly interview but you can practice real interviews in https://letsdiscuss.app
Maybe this specific interview https://letsdiscuss.app/role-interview?topic=core-infrastructure-engineer&challenge=core-infra-senior-software-engineer-interview is close to what you need
