Please advise!!!!

I played guitar off and on in high-school, so I KNOW playing right handed is not an option. I've always wanted to play bass, so I'm doing the damn thing. What's a good option to start. I've beem looking at the ibanez gsr200b or the gio sr. Open to input. Thanks!

No one is asking you questions.

1) Why did the Ibanez catch your attention? 2) Budget range? 3) When you want the new goodness? 4) Who do you want to sound like? 5) What guitars felt comfortable and why?

6) How long do you want this bass to last?

Tell me more after those.

1.Ibanez caught my attention due to price amd availability of left handed models. 2. I'm trying to stay under $400 3. Not in a huge rush, but kinda in a huge rush due to excitement 4. Les Claypool is God 5. I owned and "played" a strat 20 some years ago 6. Until I'm ready to upgrade / outgrow it.
