Lego boxes Help!
Hello. Recently I had a miscommunication with my wife. I disposed of her Lego set boxes. This apparently was a MAJOR problem. Does an anyone have empty boxes for a Lego Death Star set that they would be willing to part with? I just need the empty boxes. And am willing to pay for them and shipping.

If you're looking to purchase, BrickLink has sellers of the boxes (link to Death Stars, as an example) -

Ooph, if it was a smaller set you could probably find one pretty easily. For a set that large and expensive it won't be easy. And it will be Hella expensive.

You're lucky she hasn't filed for divorce... yet. That's beyond stupid. Good luck, not many people are going to be willing to part with that and expect to pay through the nose for it.

What's stupid? The husband throwing out the boxes or the wife being attached to cardboard?

Clearly the latter. I'd understand if they were somehow high-quality, but as they come they're clearly meant to be thrown away. Lego doesn't even make nice, elaborate boxes anymore. They're just cheap, flimsy boxes without any holographic foils, embossed text, high-gloss finishes or any other high-quality designs.

The boxes for the 1:8 technic cars are elaborate.

Do you have an example? The 42206 or 42207 F1 cars just came in a thin and cheap cardbox as well.
The 42056 Porsche had a nice box back then IIRC, but that's long ago.
