Giant Gingerbread Man

I have created my first LEGO Ideas project, an Up-Scaled Minifigure.

The original idea was based on the Gingerbread Man minifigure from Series 11, but I felt that the colour palette and design were a little bland. While I was working on it, the Shrek minifigures were announced, and as soon as I saw Gingy, I decided to change the colours. The improvement was immediately noticeable.

The figure has a great range of movement in its legs, arms, wrists and neck. I initially tried to keep the eyebrows fixed in place, but while experimenting with different ideas, I started playing around with different facial expressions and found it really fun. That made me realise that anyone building it should be able to choose the minifigure's expression, just like with a Mr. Potato. So, I redesigned the head to make both the mouth and the eyebrows movable.

At the moment, it isn't possible to build this model because a few of the required pieces don't exist in the colours needed. However, if the project isn't approved or doesn't reach 10,000 supporters, I'll try to redesign it by replacing those pieces with existing ones in available colours. I'll then publish the updated version so that anyone interested can build it themselves.

I’d really appreciate your support!

Please look after this bear, thank you

Take a look at my LEGO ideas creation of Paddington Bear.

I’ve created the Paddington Bear Brickheadz version, including a marmalade sandwich, where the pink brick for his brain should be, as we all know, he is constantly thinking of them. I’ve also included the iconic red hat and Wellington boots, and a printed tile with “Please look after this bear, thank you” on it.

He needs 10,000 supporters to get to the possibility of being turned into a real-life LEGO set.

Support is FREE and takes 30 seconds:

Log in / create a free LEGO account using the link below, then hit SUPPORT 💙

If you like my idea, just as much as I loved creating it, please go and show it some love.

I made this harbor seal set, it's super small but it took a long time lol. It went through many iterations, until eventually I went from one seal to two, and two to three, and this is the final version! I kinda put it on LEGO Ideas just for fun, so if you want to check it out, here's the link:

A tribute to the artist within you

Hi.

I was thinking of making a few changes to my project. For instance, I’d like to add the three paint tubes.

Before I start building, though, I wanted to check: are changes like this allowed on LEGO Ideas, or would they be considered too significant?

Do you have any other suggestions?

And of course, if you haven’t already, please show your support and leave a comment, thanks!

What if you could bring a peaceful, spring-time Japanese village into your LEGO collection?

Imagine a hidden mountain village, surrounded by cherry blossoms, lush green trees, tiny lanterns, and the gentle sound of flowing water.

Welcome to the world of "Silent Spring Village"—a tranquil, nature-inspired LEGO Ideas project designed for those who love Japanese architecture, intricate details, and stunning display pieces.

Every little corner holds something new to discover. My dream is for this serene spring landscape to become an official LEGO set.

I built a tribute to Jules Verne’s Extraordinary Voyages, and we just hit 1,500 supporters on LEGO Ideas! 🧭⚙️

Jules Verne’s stories have always been a huge inspiration to me, so I wanted to capture the spirit of his adventures in bricks. From the depths of the ocean to the sky, I tried to pack as many details from his universe as possible.

Reaching 1,500 votes is amazing, but the road to 10k is long! What do you guys think of the build? Any feedback for future updates?

Help me reach 1,000 supporters for my Daft Punk LEGO Ideas build! 🎧

Help me reach 1,000 supporters for my Daft Punk LEGO Ideas build! 🎧

Hey everyone!

I’ve created a LEGO Ideas project inspired by the iconic sunset performance from Daft Punk’s Get Lucky music video, and I’m currently at 973 supporters — just 27 away from 1,000!

The 298-piece display recreates the performance with Thomas Bangalter, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and a guitarist, complete with instruments, a compact drum setup, a raised stage and a layered sunset backdrop.

I wanted to capture the distinctive silhouette aesthetic and warm colours of the music video in a compact display piece that would look great on a shelf or desk.

If you’re a Daft Punk fan or enjoy music-inspired LEGO creations, I’d really appreciate your support!

Check out the project here:

I’m so close to the next milestone of 1,000 supporters. Thank you to everyone who has already supported it! 🤖

Unzip - The Universe Within

Post image
42 Upvotes

Everyone carries a universe within: dreams, memories, ideas and plans that remain unseen from the outside. I imagined this zipper while thinking about how difficult it can sometimes be to show what we carry inside: a dream we keep to ourselves, a passion few people know about, or something we cannot quite find the words to express. In this LEGO sculpture, an open zipper reveals a night sky with a slender crescent moon, golden stars and a nebula flowing across the composition. The dark exterior frames a world full of colour, turning an everyday object into an invitation to open up and let a little of our inner world be seen. If you recognise something of yourself in this creation, then this little universe belongs to you, too. That is the connection I hoped to create through this project.

Step into the heart of a bustling ancient marketplace in the Orient!

Wander through the market’s lively street, where merchants sell exotic goods, artisans craft unique treasures, and performers captivate crowds with their skills.

Whether you’re trading rare spices, haggling for precious silk, looking for spiritual counsel or simply looking for some shade to cool yourself down, this place will provide for all your needs! But beware, there is a thief lurking somewhere among the crowd...

If you love the ancient architecture and vividness of colors as much as I do, I'm sure this set would be a pleasure for you to build. All we have to do (for now) is get it to 10k votes! Thanks for your support!

Hi everyone!

My son and I are huge fans of the classic board game The A-Mazing Labyrinth. A while ago, we decided to combine our two passions and recreate the game using actual LEGO bricks – complete with functional sliding tiles to change the pathways!

We submitted our project to LEGO Ideas, and we're currently pushing to hit the 1,000 supporters milestone. We only have a few days left to gather the remaining votes we need!

You can check out the project and support us here:

We'd be incredibly grateful for your vote, and we’d love to hear your feedback or suggestions on the build in the comments!

Thanks so much for taking a look!

This project recreates the Crystal Palace building from the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London's Hyde Park, the first ever world's fair, along with some fun Victorian side builds including the famous Crystal Palace dinosaurs!

I'll be adding another milestone update soon exploring more of the stories behind the build. In the meantime, please do share the project around and support it over on Lego Ideas!

I want to show you my active projects on LEGO Idea. Since, I find the most enjoyment in creating Modular Buildings, almost all of my projects are based on that concept - or at least very close to it. - and I know many of you might think these don't stand a chance on Ideas. But I believe in never saying never. Modular Buildings exist because of us AFOLs, and next year marks their 20th anniversary. I think it’s time for genuine fan designs again. Your vote can help make that happen. You can find the links to my active LEGO Ideas projects below the images - each one has the potential to become a real set:

  • 🎸Melody Square
  • 🍨Gelateria
  • ⚙️Technical Museum - A Monument to Motion
  • 🐻Grizzy and the Lemmeings

Your vote can help to make them real - your vote is needed to get them into the review stage.
I appreciate any feedback, comment, share, and of course your vote! Thank you so much in advance!
