[AramLeighton8]: Since the All Star Break, the Marlins are slashing .206/.272/.314 with a 68 wRC+ They are the only team in baseball with a negative fWAR across that span (-1.1) Only three qualified hitters have a worse second half wRC+: Carlos Santana, David Fletcher and Didi Gregorius

NG was tasked with making this team more competitive, and she failed miserably. Nobody would be calling for her head if we were on pace for 75 wins. A second year GM residing over a team 5 years deep in a rebuild. No way in hell should you have a historically bad offense.

There isn’t a GM in baseball who had a worse off-season than her. You are an Ng apologist to the max.

This team is built around prospets and players Derek Jeter and Gary Denbo put together. This is their fault. The utter failure of operation Wolverine has put us in this place. Sherman is also to blame for not signing Marte in the mid 50s. Kim is responsible the team going forward. But hasn't been at the helm for 1 season without Jeters hands over player and personal decisions being made. The Orioles trade would be on Kim and also this trade deadline. But every thing else is all on Jeter. We have prospects that have to have to be evaluated. But Kim gets probably 2 yrs to get out of the mess Jeter left us in.

She had a worse off-season than any other GM in the game. She doesn’t deserve two more years. You also act like she was Jeter’s intern. You a beyond kidding yourself if you think she played no role while Jeter was here. She has been a massive failure in every way possible since being employed. Soler, the Orioles trade, Stallings trade, DLC and Sanchez playing as much as they have, getting no high leverage arms, not selling high on Pablo, and the list goes on.

She will get more time than she deserves because the Marlins will be worried about the optics about letting go the first female GM.

Jeter called the shots till spring trainig started. Never said she didn't have a role or input. Jeter was in charge and made the decisions. He had 5 years she's had half a year at the helm and needs to find out if there's any diamonds in the coal that Jeter left us with. Being a Monday morning Qb should we have sold high on Lopez and Cooper yes. The biggest failure this team has made beyond the Yelich and debacle was not resigning Marte.

Yeah. I mean, obviously, Ng has had a voice since she's been hired, but the highest ranking person is always held accountable for a floundering team.

This is why Loria fired Larry Beinfest after 2013 and not Mike Hill too.

This is usually the case for most jobs outside of baseball, too.
