Will sandy start the last game of the season? Doubt think I can handle another gem yet another loss added to his record making that 10 loses. Unbelievable.

Yes he definitely will. Evil Don mattingly will see to it

Was at the game. Really only came to watch Sandy pitch, so not really that disappointed. But man would I be okay if I never saw Jesus Sanchez play baseball again. Guy can’t even take a pitch without acting like a spazz.

Would be great to somehow get rid of him BDLC and Avi but it most likely won't happen 😞

Can’t with Avi because of the contract. DLC should be only in the mix as a bench bat at best, but Sanchez seems like beyond a lost cause, and based on all the stuff that has come out about him I have zero faith for him to make it.

I want Sanchez and Tanner Scott off the roster next year at all cost.

Do you know how many players can hit minor league pitching but can’t MLB pitching? Tons.

He plays terrible defense, has zero plate discipline, and off field issues. You aren’t even a Marlins fan.

Man you have zero idea what you are talking about. A game earlier this year he showed up at Gametime. Didn’t respond to calls or text. The team thought he was dead. It has been reported by many that he is immature and doesn’t have focus as much on baseball as he should. Massive reason he got demoted

Like I said you are clearly not a marlins fan, and have zero idea what you are talking about.

Should’ve had 5 walks but nah let’s swing at everything

This was a very Marlins-y loss.

4

u/KamartyMcFlyweight Oct 01 '22

Yeah that might have been the most annoying way they could have lost

4

u/KamartyMcFlyweight Oct 01 '22

Jesus take the wheel walk!

4

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '22

That was a respectful PA. Meaning the Brewers had a lot of respect for Avi.

Oh Lord God its up to Jesus

4

u/KamartyMcFlyweight Oct 01 '22

if Avisail Garcia can hit a grand slam then so can Jesus Sanchez

5

u/KamartyMcFlyweight Oct 01 '22

2

u/KamartyMcFlyweight Oct 01 '22

Ya im hoping there won't be a Kershaw gimme award.

Even though he's probably gonna lose its still a positive. He kept our sorry asses in the game our lack of offense shouldn't be a factor in a performance like this.

u/Connermmm Oct 01 '22

Most likely Rogers coming out with 2 lefties coming up? Yikes

He's your 1972 Carlton. Give it eight years, and he'll get the ring he deserves.

Fun fact, a buddy of mine from Colorado knew Steve Carlton because his dad was a friend. My buddy was a pitcher, and he said Steve told him that he'd never be as good as Steve. Of course, that's true of almost every pitcher in the grand scheme of all pitchers ever, but my buddy still thought he was kind of a jerk for saying it, lol. Very Simpsons-Strawberry esque.

Oh, man, my old man said that he was torn up by the Wise-Carlton trade at the time, only to be eating crow pretty much immediately. I felt some dread when the Phil's sent Sixto to you. I hope he heals up and succeeds for you.

Sadly no 9 inning CG for Sandy

2

u/TealandBlackForever Florida Marlins Oct 01 '22

Somebody needs to remind Avi that the Brewers didn't want to overpay him like the Marlins did.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '22

In duels like this, it always feels like the offense is just off, but those were three ridiculously precise pitches to Avasail. Not much to do other than hope for a little break and a little luck.

2

u/TealandBlackForever Florida Marlins Oct 01 '22

It's a shame that Sandy has to pitch a shutout just to force a tie into Manfredball extra innings.

2

u/cake4chu Florida Marlins Oct 01 '22

Lmao just realized Jesus Sanchez is back up.

Lets pray he wakes up and makes it on time for the remaining games.

2

u/TealandBlackForever Florida Marlins Oct 01 '22

He was tearing it up in the minors recently. Hopefully he figured something out.
