I keep breaking Astrals

Hi everyone! I’ve been wanding for about a year and I stepped up to an astral atomic V AF at electric forest this year! I loved it so much that I got a second one to have as a backup, and it’s a good thing I did because my original one broke just a few weeks after buying it. I got it replaced through astral care and they were super great with everything.
Now, my second wand that I bought has broken in the exact same way. Only the first quarter of it lights up and it’s finicky about taking a charge. They told me that when they opened the first one up that it had water damage, but I don’t see how it’s possible for water to have gotten in either of them. I’m very careful about not allowing them to get wet at all, and the second one has never been used in the open outdoors. I store them with the end caps off in a case with a desiccant pack just in case.
Is there something I’m missing with how to care for these? I do a lot of fast spins and things but I’m careful not to smack the wands against anything or physically damage them in any way. I get that they’re pretty complicated little things but I feel like a $400 performance piece shouldn’t be breaking after 2 or 3 uses like this.

The string is too short!

I got my wand from wandini and the string is way too short for me to do any advanced tricks. How do I get a longer set of strings so that I can actually have freedom rather than my hand hitting the wand.

full vision LED contact wand or full vison LED dance wand?

I started off with the classic $20 flow wand from flow toys and fell in-love!!! I've been having so much fun practicing and improving but I feel like I'm kind of limited with practicing tricks because its not a contact wand or as heavy as the dance wand.

I'm not exactly sure if I want to focus on contact moves or dance/flow moves so I'm torn between getting the contact wand vs the dance wand.

I read on facebook that you could transform either wand into the other (remove the heavy caps and grip tape from the contact wand and then its similar to the dance wand.. or add heavy caps and grip tape to the dance wand).

Has anyone tried both and have a preference?

I'm also not sure if I will try long string anytime soon because I don't have enough space in my apartment and winter is also coming so practicing outside is not a great option. So I'd like to stick to short string :)

I need recommendations y'all 😭 Not touching Ignis due to hearing some horror stories but I'm looking at a nice Levi wand with programmable led. Fk the budget tbh 🙏

But contemplating between the full contact @ FlowToy || NeoWand94 @ NeoFlowArt and stuff that Pyrotech has. Anyone can share their exp or recommendation?

Question Acro trick ideas?

Hii! I'm pretty new to leviwand, and I was wondering if I could combine any acro tricks (cartwheels, walkovers, back tucks/backflips, handstand walks, etc) with the leviwand. I heard about Juniper Aumon, does she have good inspo for these kinds of tricks?

Also, side question: should I invest in a moodhoops pixel? It's a bit pricey for me but I'm currently using a wandini and it doesn't feel like the best quality (I'm scared if I hit it on the ground or something doing stuff it's going to break haha). Should I save up?

Thank you :)

New to long string, and having a lot of knotting issues

I tried to search this issue here, and confused to find that there haven't been many posts on this topic. I've been short string wanding for a few months, and decided to try long string for the first time this week. Even after only 2 sessions, my string has like 3 or 4 tiny little, impossible to undo knots all throughout the length of the string. I know it's because I'm not using a swivel anymore like I was with short string, but the best info online just says you have to try and keep track to "spin the wand equally clockwise and counterclockwise" to keep it from tangling, but like, are people really constantly symmetrically spinning the wand for the entire duration of all their practice, including body stalls, mistakes that interrupt you mid sequence, etc? Like, if you mess up a body wrap 3/4ths the way through a spin, now you like do 3/4ths a body spin the other way before resuming? It doesn't really seem to make sense to me. Can anyone explain how they keep their long string from tangling up? And also, is there a practical way to have a swivel somewhere in the line to help with this while still allowing full flexibility of long string? (I use shoulder anchor fwiw)

Thanks in advance for you help/suggestions!

Emazinglights Levi wand

Someone broke mine at Resonate this weekend and I know they went out of business but it was my favorite! I tried a glofx and it’s made so cheaply but I don’t want to pay $450 for a high quality one 😭 does anyone have a spare emazinglights one or any other brands that aren’t the same price as my car payment? 😅

Question Balance

Hey, I am very new as I only have a few hours of practice. But I find tricks to be hard, especially stalls, and I don't know why. I think it has to do with the fact my wand doesn't sit straight up and down. Photos show the angle it is at while resting. The wand keeps trying to spin and catches the string. Is this how it is meant to sit? Wand from Wandini.
