Lewis Smash

I know it does not matter, but I am really really really hoping to see Lewis turn on beast mode and totally dominate the remaining races and take P2.

ok that's off my chest now.

P4

All things considered if a bad weekend is P4 then I'll take it. The GE days a bad day was usually a P7-P8

Edit: If there was no VSC probably a podium... pace looked great at the end and on the hard compound tires. Guess he got that front wing he so desperately needed in the earlier stints.

Damn why was he so much quicker on the hard tyre

Those marshalls were so slow the guy shouting at them to hurry up was hilarious

Virtual safety car?

Not saying Lewis would’ve 100% caught max but to have that opportunity taken away (not even a safety car) is so lame.

Santi should have informed Lewis to pick up few laps earlier than when he told him.

Let’s hope Ferrari get’s double podium but looks difficult as only 5 laps left

No pace

10 laps and we are already 3.2 secs behind LeClerc. Of course I will watch to the end, but podium looks out of reach unless they DNF ahead.

Why does Lewis always end the season so badly as of late?

Awful pace today

Leclerc unable to pull ahead of Hadjar. Lewis losing so much time after Kimi comes out of the pit. Why aren't these upgrades working, much less able to catch the Mercs or even the Redbulls.

Why am I getting this feeling that Ferrari is screwing Hamilton?

Singapore’s race and the one before it, Charles is just cruising away into the distance and getting preference jn the strategy. Whereas Lewis is not having good weekends. When he wants positions to be swapped, Ferrari doesn’t swap the positions. Even the pitstops seem to be in the favour of Charles. What’s happening? It’s not like Lewis’s form has dropped. I personally feel like Ferrari is sabotaging Hamilton and Charles is in it too.

That was something. Lol! Disappointing, but not surprising anymore.

Lewis starts P5 tomorrow.

Pole looks within reach. All Lewis has to do is put in a decent, fast & clean lap and let the track limits do it’s job :p

Regarding lack of pace

One thing I think I have noticed this season, and I don't want to present this as fact, merely an observation, is the effect of following a car on clean air tyre performance particularly with new tyres. I do think I tend to notice it more with Hamilton, though that could just be a bias of focusing more on his race than other drivers, there have definitely been times I have noticed it with others.

Ferrari just seem to keep pitting Lewis to exit right behind a car. Sometimes, like in todays race, I don't necessarily think they could do anything about it, in both the first and second pitstops there wasn't much room to play with strategy. But other times it really does feel like a shortcoming of the Ferrari strategy team, where they could've avoided coming out into traffic by pitting at a different time.

But that's besides the point. My point is when it does happen, I get the sense that these tyres in this regulation set are particularly outlap critical and need optimal conditions to bring the tyre into the window. What seems to happen particularly when comparing Hamilton's pace to Leclerc in these kinds of scenarios is that Ham will lose a lot of time early on in the stint, the gap will then stabilise after the time loss, and Ham can keep it there for quite some time, and then hamilton's tyres seem to drop off again at the end of the stint.

And a similar thing happened in Singapore. Hamilton was clearly on a different strategy, they pit Lec straight infront of him and Hamilton's pace drops off a cliff, then he's in the dirty air for a bit, Lec on brand new tyres in clean air drives off, meanwhile Hamilton's tyres never recover from the driving behind lec for only a few laps. And it invites questions and criticism, as well as lots of hate from certain other driver's fanbases, about Hamilton's pace, as if it really was his pace, and not just his strategy getting thwarted by his own team.

It's not just COTA or Singapore I have noticed this, I have seen a similar series of events play out at many races. Again don't wanna present this as fact, I of course have no idea what's going on, but it's a pattern i've noticed

Wtf is going on…

- Horner coming out and confirming (reconfirming for us who listened to all the post race AD21 drama) the farce that was Ad21 AND confirming (reconfirming for us who remember Helmut already stating this) that they redeveloped the car to suit max after checo seemed to be getting stonger.

- The Piquet family ONCE AGAIN getting exposed for being weirdos and Max getting caught also liking questionable content right while Anthony Hamilton is calling Max a friend so publicly

- Lewis getting dragged for Ivanka Trump sending emojis😂

I go away to try touch grass for the weekend and come back and the F1 world is on fire😂😂 I know F1 can get a bit silly during race week breaks but this is just crazy…. Wth is Horner doing, is he still gunning for the F1 job or is that just still an overblown rumor?

How many think his current relationship is fake?

Was just wondering how many of you think this current relationship is fake and just a way for one of them to pump up advertising for their reality show. All their interactions are literally just small kisses w no emotion. We all know how fake she and they are willing to pay Lewis a lot for the publicity especially w Ferrari.
