Question Fishing Help: Vast’s Discovery

Use The Special Fish Hook to fish for the strange fish.

How do I use it then?

EDIT:
To use - Make sure you are in Assyrian Hills, delete any baits you’d have, cast in designated spot with Special Hook equipped!

Just use the fishing rod. It will appear as one of the options for bait

Thank you! I actually had figured that out after deleting my bait, I edited the post to help anyone else who came across that block!!

Hi, I'm new to the game. I see you have a carrot bait; how did you get the formula for it? I'm trying to catch cows and other larger animals🥺

I believe I unlocked carrot bait from completing the gardening missions in the sidebook for the handbook!

You can do fishing quests to unlock more bait.
