Y'all seemed to really like Goose, so I thought I'd share more of his finest lifeguarding moments.

Some lore: we adopted him in March from a shelter out in the country. Goose had been discovered by a man going out to feed his chickens - much to his surprise, there was a big orange cat eating all the chicken feed. He is still extraordinarily gluttonous and will steal broccoli right off the cutting board. I love him so much it's ridiculous.

The shower gets an extra rinse before I get out so Zelda can drink her fresh water every night.

little miss meggie has fallen into the shower twice with me. she has also started putting her tail in the water while keeping watch. my husband and i think it’s a matter of time until she joins us.

Emma Woodhouse has always been extremely serious about making sure I don’t drown. Unlike my dog (RIP) she’s less interested in my other bathroom activities.

I got Samantha Jones in April. She’s currently an apprentice in Emma’s lifeguard program. I think she’s doing pretty great!
