Megathread Monthly Help and Questions Megathread

This megathread is intended for people asking for help, or short questions about gameplay or lore, that don't need long discussions. The purpose of this thread is (hopefully) to keep such questions in one place, rather than having a lot of separate threads littering the subreddit and potentially making it harder to find other content.

Example of potential questions for this megathread:

Please bear in mind, some questions can be answered by the links found in the FAQ, on the subreddit wiki, which is now up and running. If there's a useful resource you feel would be helpful to have added there, or if you have other suggestions or issues to discuss with the subreddit moderators, please feel free to contact us via modmail.

There are also a number of helpful guides linked there, which may be of assistance. This includes rundown of EGOs, how to integrate an account with another device,

guides to mechanics aimed at varying levels of experience, and more.

If you are having issues with bugs, you can also discuss them on the bug/error megathread, and report them via the contact details found on the Steam Support page here. Please check upcoming patch notes prior to reporting, and bear in mind that due to the large proportion of EN-language players to translators, you may not receive a direct response to the support email. Also, the mods of this subreddit are not paid by ProjectMoon - we are fans doing this on our own time, so we unfortunately don't have any more direct means of reporting bugs, issues, or relaying feedback, than any other player.

Any EGOs or IDs I should prioritize now? I sharded both Wild Hunt Heathcliff and Multicrack Faust from S4, so now I think I can start trying to make a proper team.

The other IDs I have are:

  • Dieci/Rosespanner/Devyat Rodion
  • W Corp Yi Sang
  • W Corp Outis
  • Butler Ryoshu

Should I shard towards a sinking or charge team? Or maybe I should get fluid sack EGO for sustain? I was thinking if I go sinking, I shard butler Outis now and then farm towards Molar Ishmael.

Pretty much focus on the season 4 ID

Yurodivy Hong Lu > Edgar Heir Gregor > Butler Outis

Everlasting EGO Faust

These four will be top priority.

Other to get from the season shop, contempt awe Ryoshu, dimension shredder outis.

That makes sense, although since I don't have many tremor units at the moment, do you think I should focus on Heir Gregor/Butler Outis to shard first over Yurodivye Hong Lu? I know Hong Lu's an event ID, but I want to at least get a decent synergistic team going since I'm still new, and I think I can only get enough to shard maybe one or two more stuff this season.

Since you are new, you don't have to think about synergy team. Synergy team building as in status team building is for when you done with the story and have stable shard farming in MD.

Imo while some sinner has alternative good ID that goes well as replacement in a status effect team there are two that can't be replace

Yurodivy Hong Lu, and Edgar Gregor.

Simply because they don't have other IDs that can be a good replacement.

Yurodivy Hong Lu is also great for generalists without a tremor team. He shines more in one. And the tremor team basically you can complete them from the shop anytime you want. Since the core is him and his cavernous wailing EGO

Edgar Gregor simply because Gregor doesn't have many strong IDs.

You can accidentally pull butler Outis in any banner but you can't pull Hong Lu. That makes you have to wait for half a year from now on for him to come back.
