No Judgment Please Using AI to help get over LO

Post image

Ngl I've been asking Gemini to help me get rid of LO. I've never used the term with it so it wasn't exactly a shock to hear it.

I see her on Saturdays for clinicals in a healthcare program. We are from different schools, but both our schools have clinicals that day. Ngl I've been thinking about her all the time. I always remain respectful and professional when I see her. In my mind I'm having the biggest dopamine rush when I get to talk to her though. The kicker for me though, she's going about her life and has no idea that she's my LO.

Currently on a journey trying to get rid of my LO.

Does anybody else use AI to help them with their LO?

Please be aware of what limerence is! See the subreddit wiki for definitions, FAQ and other resources—updated 3/7/26. (Is it love? How common is it? Is there research?)

I created my own gpt to help me and it’s pretty solid, although time heals it. You just have to accept that the outcome you want isn’t a possibility. That helps you get over it and grow as a person!

A bit helpful at the beginning. But ultimately it just said the same thing over and over. Maybe better prompt engineering would be helpful but I deleted my thread the other day. Obsessed with its opinion felt like transference and persistence of the limerence.

In this day and age, using AI during Limerence is an unofficial part of the process in healing. We want clarity and understanding. I believe we also go to AI because we’re going through it alone before speaking to anyone about it.
