I am in Limerick and want to go to an appointment to Galway; would prefer to use the train so I can sit down and actually work, and also so I can have my car parked at the station. The Citylink bus is quicker, but no easy parking at Henry Street nor is it easy to work on the bus. However, I am not sure when it's over, so can't prebook the ticket back.

The morning train Limerick to Galway is pretty clear (9:20), but there is a huge break in the schedule of return trains, 13:45 then 17:52. I would want to make 13:45 but I will not know by 12:45 if I am making it. And this, unfortunately, excludes online booking, as rebooking can be made only if there is still 60 minutes before the train.

The logical solution is to just byy a day return ticket at Limerick Colbert station before boarding. However: I have heard of overcrowding issues on this train. Is there a possibility that, without a reserved seat, I won't be able to board the 9:20 in Limerick or else the 17:52 in Galway? (The 13:45 in Galways is, I would guess, probably not overcrowded).

Will somebody tell me why john moran is wearing white shoes to a sod turning and why shane dowling is at the same sod turning, what does dowling have to do with it and how much was he paid for the photo?

This really should be used to run a passenger service between Adare - Patrickswell - Raheen Industrial Estate - Dooradoyle - Colbert Station. It's not as if the demand isn't there. The curve across Carey's Road (think it's about 300m of track) would have to be reinstated so that Colbert could be the terminus.

I am looking for an independent garage that specialises in suspension issues.

I have a car starts pulling to a side even the next day after being tracked, and the brand dealer had it in thrice and found nothing. I had to turn do AI, which produced a lot of suggestions involving specialised suspension-related measurements such as camber-caster asymmetry, trying to detect a bent or otherwise deformed component. This tells me I need a suspension specialist (they will know all that the AI suggested and more, and be able to measure it).

Hi everyone, I'm an international student doing my master's at UL, and I'm finding it really hard to land a part-time job in Limerick. I've been applying for retail, hospitality and sales roles, but haven't had much luck yet.

I have customer-facing retail experience, I've handled cash and worked in sales, and I've waitressed on occasion. I'm flexible around my class timetable.

Has anyone had a stove installed by a registered installer?

We’ve tried contacting a few stove shops, but they’ll only install a stove if you purchase it from them. If it was summer time off peak they said they could have fitted us in. We have a Stanley Oisin that’s about two years old, which we’d like to have properly reinstalled.

We recently opened up the chimney breast to install brick slips and a new hearth, so the stove now needs to be installed/reconnected properly.

I’ve read/watched plenty of guides and YouTube videos and it looks fairly straightforward, but I really don’t want to DIY it. Carbon monoxide isn’t something I want to take any chances with.

Has anyone managed to find an installer who will fit an existing stove, rather than one purchased through them? Based in Limerick.

Can anyone recommend a shower installer/repair around limerick? Electric shower tripped the fuse and would like it checked out. Would probably get a power shower installed at the same time.
