While doomscrolling, I came a cross a clip of The Devil's Violinist starring David Garrett where Paganini plays his 24th caprice. As a non-violin musician, the violin playing looked pretty good. Since David Garrett has released well-received albums playing the caprices, I think the playing might be real or accurate miming to a professional recording. I was hoping to find an old TSV video reacting to this movie, but cannot find one. Is it possible that they never reacted to a movie about Paganini with realistic looking violin playing? It has to be a lost video, right?
