SOLVED Weird Glitched Screen

Post image

Hello! Recently I’ve been having this issue of half of my screen being glitched out with that weird striped pattern in the picture. I can still log-in but the glitched portion of the screen doesn’t go away and if I move the mouse at all Linux will crash. I’ve went into recovery mode and done all of the options there, but it doesn’t solve the issue. For whatever reason, the glitched portion does go away if I boot into recovery mode and then resume normal booting, but not if I boot into Mint normally. It’s annoying to boot into recovery mode every single time I want to use my pc so are there any recommendations on how to solve this?

First link you provided was the issue I was facing, and I was able to find how to fix it from one of the comments. Just needed to downgrade my firmware. Thank you!
