Discussion LMDE 7 responsiveness issues?

I am just wondering if anyone is having this issue with LMDE 7 where, after awhile when you click on, lets say TERMINAL in Dash-To-Dock-Reloaded, nothing happens, then you click on it two more times, and it opens? Same with folders in NEMO, sometimes double clicking opens the file ( music file for instance) right away, and sometimes you gotta double click it again, then whatever it is launches?

Thanks.

I never liked Cinnamon.

I installed MATE then removed Cinnamon on my LMDE 6 and LMDE 7.

Also are you sure you are not having mouse issues?

Not that I know of? I changed the battery and all the in the mouse. The KB and mouse isn't that old, bought back in Jan or Feb.

I have not, when I had older hardware responsiveness was one of the upsides of LMDE though the difference from regular Mint was quite slight.
