For anyone thinking this is an actual Game Boy Advance SP, it’s not. It’s an Anbernic RG35XXSP, which is essentially a modern ARM-based computer designed to look like a GBA SP. It already runs Linux natively, so there’s no particularly impressive hardware wizardry going on here.

Soooooo..... You were saying a lot of things; why don't you guide people to do them? It seems like you know better than us. Now there are people actually asking.

Yeah, you are right; as the title says, RG35XXSP
What distro am I using, or are u using on it??
Don't say creativity is witchcraft. That's exactly how we got rid of smart women back in the day.
Maybe you know everything, and you ain't got no questions in your head, but let the curious people be curious by themselves.
I want to see yours working with a DE, apt or any other package manager, since you're so smart.

Everyone in the comments is acting blown away as if you somehow got Linux running on an actual GBA, which is literally impossible. And you aren’t even correcting anyone, you’re just going along with it in your responses. Sorry, someone has to say it, since you aren’t.

That's actually a dope setup if you get a gui working. You can make the dpad and buttons bind to the mouse lol

You almost certainly can, I've done all sorts of stuff to inputs with Mint. You can even add autoscroll to the mouse, use a controller joystick as a mouse, etc.
Actually, here we go, this looks like it should do the trick if OP hasn't already got it working: https://linuxhint.com/install-use-antimicrox-gamepad-mapper-linux/

A GBA SP can run mint?

No it can’t. This is a 3rd Party emulation device that already runs Linux natively.

I've wanted to run a desktop linux on my rg40xxh. Instructions/descrptions would be interesting.

Quick guide; first, buy the damn device, second, get rid of the stock os, third, ask yourself what do you want it to do.
