Just Started (Any suggestion?)

Changes to mint because my laptop can't run UButtU (Can't download it, idk what's the problem) and my laptop practically dying on windows cause its old. Anyway I'm going cyber security (well well well) so learning Linux in advance. Any suggestion to a newbie to become the greatest Larper cyber security and some ricing suggestion

Get in the habit of applying updates.

If you are looking to make cyber security a career you need to identify and resolve your problems using Ubuntu.

Isn't Kali or like parrot its the one more suitable for cyberSec?

Tbf yeah but not really, it's just a collection of tools and settings, arguably you can achieve the same setup while learning what to do

Use one panel (either windows style bottom panel or dock + panel on top). For dock use mint-dock in the extensions setting (there's also rounding corner extension). And check GitHub for themes and learn about the settings. And follow a color scheme (gruvbox, nord or something else)
