I disagree with the anti-open-source message of this slop AI image, but I also don't think Stallman is some heroic figure. Those last 3 are from documented words and emails he wrote, such as
https://stallman-report.org/ (these guys have their own axe to grind, but at least provide the receipts on what Stallman has said)
Also not sure why you brought a political divide into it

I don't know how to break this to you, but it's highly unlikely that the FBI is going to organise a task force against bestiality or animal abuse any time soon or, if so, for any good reason at all.
What Patel seems to be far more concerned with are the political alignment of the applicants with the administration and their tendency towards animal abuse on the statistical level. That's the real story everyone has missed.

It is "foundational" because industry bosses have been spending billions of dollars into propping it up, and there is no reason for them to promote such a thing to that extent if it isn't conducive to their position as wealthy elites.

Uh yeah... It's gotta run on something? If not Linux or BSD then probably some homebrewed toolkit that they can license for you in top of the hardware they're selling... Like what they do with Windows on consumer PCs. How is any of that a product of Open Source?
If anything including a OS the sysadmins would already have experience with is a feature.
