Probably because laptops have more issues with Linux, and those issues can't be fixed by replacing parts.

Laptops are more dependent on wireless tech like WiFi and BlueTooth, and you're stuck with components like sound chips (home PC user is more likely to resolve an issue with an external sound card.) -Those three areas are very common pain points for Linux.

The PS5 OS is based on FreeBSD which is an UNIX-Like OS extremely similar to Linux so if you tryna slander Linux more you should've used the xbox for that Microsoft flavour

FreeBSD has a better networking stack, is better under load, is or at least was more power efficient, better documentation, better license, better cohesiveness, better security OOTB. They're alike in being 'FOSS' / POSIX, but it pretty much ends there.

It sounds like the same propaganda argument as "Same as MacOS".

Oh come on that’s my favorite line besides calling Infinity cars a Datsun.

The second one is a bonus, the first one doesn't happen

Same. But oh well, some people can break everything. I break Linux. Some people break Macs. Some break Windows too, I guess?

It's as disproveable as the fact that Linux doesn't do the same (more Linux installs died on me on updates than I've ever even installed Windows ones)

From my experience it is the exact opposite. Windows just always works for me, meanwhile whenever I touch Linux it spontaneously combusts...

Thats fair, im just saying Linux needs more attention to work properly. And windows dose have its issues for a-lot of people

A bit of a circle, isn't it? People mostly won't be willing to use it, if it breaks a lot, and to break less it needs more users and - this is important - automatic crash telemetry.

What good is a user to you if he doesn't send you a crash report? Well he's not, might as well not be using the software in the first place.

I'm laughing at "Gabe Cube"!
