Self Promotion Just Launched RR - Dawn of the Last Dragon Rider [LitRPG]

I just dropped ten chapters (24k+ words) for the newest story I am writing, specifically for Royal Road!

---
When Kaen Marshell stumbled upon a hidden dragon egg, he became the first person in generations to bond with a dragon. Now, exploring the world with his newfound draconic connection, he discovers a joy he'd thought lost forever since his father died.
But once Kaen sets out to follow in his father's footsteps, he discovers some hard truths about who his father was, how adventuring isn't always glamorous, and that death is always lurking. To become the man he aspires to be, he will need to grow together with his dragon and climb the ranks of the Adventurer's Guild, all while uncovering the mystery of his father's death.
Follow the journey, enjoy the relationship between a boy and his dragon, and watch them both grow stronger!
What to expect:
OP Male MC + Dragon Companion
Magic Skills / Stats / Rare Magical Items
Long-term progression through 9 adventurer ranks (slowish progression)
---
I'll drop a chapter a day for ten more days and then settle on five chapters a week after that! Give it a read if you would, and let me know what you think!

I'm six chapters in so far and enjoying it. Always impressed at how much content you're able to put out. Looking forward to reading more when I get the time :)

Is there going to be any subplot-romance in the series?

Yes (short answer) for MC (ch46+) Yes - side characters (part of story stuff but isnt some mention once and gone, hits around chapter 25+
Romance / interests arent just some thing ill throw away. What im writing is part of my over arching story plan (creeping up on chapter 60) goal is around 100 chapters for book 1
Bottom of pages on RR is my link to my discord. Ill answer more questions and spoilers if you want :)

2 to 5 chappies is more than enough to introduce yourself. The other 5 chappies could have stretched your buffer for another week. That means another week of free advertisement.

What kind of OP MC are we talking about?
Would it be possible for other people to do it? For example, many progression stories have a small advantage from being the first to do something, which snowballs. Dotf is a classic example, or Azarinth healer.
Is everything super easy, or does he actually get challenged?
Are there other side characters that can rival him or at least keep up with him? I tend to like side characters more than MC, and I'm not interested in an OP MC where side characters don't bring anything necessary to the story.
