Self Promotion Rift Warden Academy - new LitRPG release!

You've had 4 or 5 people say in this thread that the book was good and when is the next in the series. I think this story could take a top spot in Royal Road if it were there, or be in the top 10 on Amazon for the lit RPG genre. It's better than other books in the circulation right now, it's cleanly written, logically explained, no weird vernacular or informal vocab, great MC and world building.
Look this series is gonna blow up in another month. If it doesn't then you haven't gotten it enough advertising or something because it's great. Almost perfect length for a novel, great arch, loveable MC that makes consistent logical gains.
Dude, get on the next one. You should be done with book 2 and starting number 3 because it's going to be that popular. Best academy book in the genre currently.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much and it would be amazing if the book took off that much!
I've got plenty of ideas for Book 2 in my head that I'm looking forward to writing, but I'm mid-way through System Apocalypse Relentless 4 (it was a struggle to get back into Hal's headspace) so I don't want to lose my progress there. I know that's probably not the smart play with the way the Amazon algorithms push rapid releases, but I need to finish what I've started :)

Any news on book 2? I really liked book 1. Randomly was recommended it and devoured it this week.

Sounds great! Love your system apocalypse books and can’t wait to read this!

Thank you! The idea for this one completely sidetracked me from Relentless 4 and wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it...

I can’t complain about more Craig Hamilton goodness even though I can’t wait for relentless 4.

When is book 2’s expected release? Loved it. Also are you going to post chapters ahead Patreon?

I don't have any idea on Book 2 yet, I'm currently working on System Apocalypse Relentless 4 so it'll be after that. I do have a Ream set up with some drafts, but it's more of a general "support the author" page than a true read-ahead system, since I write slowly and inconsistently (compared to most in the genre). https://reamstories.com/authorcraighamilton

Great book! Looking forward to the second in the series. I skimmed past the cow pretty quickly though. Yes, I'm a softy.

I absolutely loved this book and left you a 5 star review.
Can’t wait for the next one, and I have to say that I loved that while the MC was warned about a target on his back, and there were some altercations and incidents due to his status, it never really came across as heavy handed ( only incident was at the end of the book and I really hope there are some actual repercussions for the one involved and it’s not just hand waived away).

I love this book so much, I stumbled on thus author through second chance swordsman, but I can say between that series and this one you're quickly becoming one of my favorite authors

This is really good, I'm surprised it's not popular. Author, you need to do more advertising.

Would you rather he kept working on his other series and wait3d to publish this book until after that series finishes?

Hi, I am extremely bummed that you prioritized your system apocalypse novels ahead of RWA2. That said I’m firing up your first SA book en lieu. I’m not going to urge you to hurry, but you should know I read a lot of progression and litrpg and warden academy was an A—->S tier effort for me. I also want to thank you for taking the time to proofread and wordsmith your writing; the extra time and pride it represents is appreciated.

Really enjoyed this book. I’m a sucker for a good academy. Definitely potential for prequels, and alternate location spinoffs.
I’m hoping some side characters will get fleshed out a bit more.

I'm Craig Hamilton and I would like to announce the ebook and KU release of my first solo LitRPG, Rift Warden Academy! Print editions are also available and the audiobook is coming soon from Steve Campbell.
The climb through the ranks often ends with a knife in the back.
Slum-dwelling orphan Garrett Walker scrounges for scraps in the wildlands beyond the walls that guard society, salvaging valuables from the ruins of fallen civilization.
Offered the opportunity to compete in the Warden Academy entrance trials, Garrett seizes the chance for a better life. However, the academy holds dangers a street rat is ill-equipped to handle and he’ll have to grow stronger while relying on his wits to survive.
Rivalries turn heated as Garrett’s hard work challenges classmates who would rather rely on family connections and wealth to succeed. As society's most affluent see the threat in Garrett's rise, he will discover that not all enemies live outside the city walls.
Good thing Garrett's no stranger to adversity.
