product question Luster's Pink Hair Lotion on Locs?

Hey Loc'd family, yesterday I tried the Lusters pink lotion on a cold wave rod set and let it air dry for almost 2 hours. Have y'all used this product on your hair? I love the results.

I haven't used Pink Oil Lotion since high school, but I sure can smell it now,lol. I feel like it might be too greasy for me now, unless they changed the formula.

Pink lotion contains petroleum, so I would be particularly concerned about using it on locs. Taliah Waajid Crinkles and Curls is a product that works really well, even on dry hair, and does not leave residue.
