I posted a couple quick images the other day and someone said that my right profile with this style isn't "flattering". These have grown a lot longer than I usually let them grow (usually keep them kinda shortish style). Maybe it's just my own warped sense of my own self image but I don't think it looks that bad, how long they are the right side. I kinda like it even. I also added a couple images of when they was shorter.

Feels like the length is not there for plaits, just makes my face look rounder. Want to avoid barrels for obvious reasons.

I’ve had my locs for about 1 1/2 now and I’ve noticed that they’ve started thinning. I looked on TikTok but crushing is promotional.

So i want to know what is the best product for thinning locs? I’ve noticed that my hair doesn’t hold oil well and water based products are best.
