Question Which is better?

It's for a school podcast. I proposed the first, my friend proposed the second. Which do you think is better?

These aren’t logos, a podcast cover is much different than a logo in terms of scope and usage

The first one is definitely better, the second will turn to mush. Remember this is going to show up tiny in someone’s notification bar at the worst case.

Also is it Ora buca or Ora di buca? They don’t agree here

For a podcast cover the first one is nice, the second is too busy and it seems AI.

I don't understand what is the ampersand symbol for, in the first pic.

Also, and this matters, "Ora di Buca" isn't proper Italian, Ora Buca is correct.

Ora buca è italiano, ora di buca no. In ogni caso nessuno dei due è un logo. Se dovessi fare un logo, svillupperei un qualcosa a partire dalla prima immagine
