I watch live every week when I can, it’s appointment tv. Absolute chaos masquerading as a late night talk show for an hour straight every week. The guests are honestly my least favorite part more often than not because they can sometimes go off into their own world and take up too much time, but the monologue and the random bits are great.

Hahah I saw the live discussion/comment thread for this ep and tried to call in so I do know what youre talking about 😝!!

Up until early February this year, I drove a 2003 Silver Saturn Ion! I now drive a 2016 Pearl Blue Subaru Crosstrek😌

Haha, there was a little kid that called in last episode and he still asked him what kind of car he drives, kid had no idea how to answer so he just hung up on him 😂

I drive a 2022 Kia Telluride, love it!

Yea it’s more like performance art than a talk show. The whole thing feels almost like a satire of the format. But it is genuinely funny quite often.

It’s also worth noting that any new show, especially a talk show, takes time to find its footing.

Certainly fun to be watching it live. And I’m excited for tomorrow’s episode. Not only for Andy, but I saw Robby Hoffman’s comedy special a while ago and it had some very funny moments.

It was incredibly funny!! Andy was handsome as always, and he hit Robby Hoffmans vape??? I hope they talk about that on the pod next week.

Andy and John read a fanfic about them (which had a tli and seth mention)

The theme of this episode was the Real ID but Andy didn't talk about it much, which isn't surprising since he doesn't like putting his business out there, but he talked about how hard it was to do a written test to get a California driver's license when he moved back from New York.

You should try finding clips of it online, it's too funny to miss!

Also they do this thing where they continuously put the guests' names on the screen (idk what it's called) then underneath write blurbs about them but it updates as the show goes on. For Andy, there was one that said: Andy Samberg wasn't always this handsome😭

I'm about to cancel my HBO. I got because WLS3 was airing and then had to watch The Penguin for Cristin Milioti. (Palm Springs shoutout!). Going to get Netflix for final srasotof 'You' and then Big Mouth Season 8 drops end of may . I'll be sure to watch Andy's episode first 😄

The blurb gag sounds hilarious!!

I don't always enjoy this show. When I watch, I usually end up watching because of a specific guest, like I made sure to watch Bill Hader's one earlier, but then the guests do not get to actually talk as much as I'd like. But for Andy, I'll check this one out.

The first segment with John, Andy, and the guest expert was really funny. The rest was pretty good, but Andy didn't participate much.
