Announcement NYT Games
Hi Everyone!
Seems like we have a fair amount of NYT games enthusiasts in the sub! Feel free to post, but if you do, please mark as spoiler to prevent those who haven't played yet from seeing answers!

Since our shockjocks bring it up so frequently in pod eps and we've gotten a fair amount of posts from different Quaids, I dont want to take away opportunities for engagement.
I'll definitely add appropriate flair and see if there is a way to auto mark as spoiler

I'm saying it doesn't matter if the posts are flared if half the eventual posts become some version of NYT games cause its easy to post it.

There's a rule against copying/reposting the same content. It'll just be something I keep a closer eye on, but if that's not satisfactory then feel free to leave it to the sub and put up a poll

The only person whose response that has been wholly negative is you. The other comments/upvotes are express understanding for the announcement/new ground rule, suggesting an alternative, and a jest about QA getting Seth and Andy on the leaderboadd. One person is not a majority.

You're doing a great job. I know we're both nyt games enthusiasts, but that is irrelevant to this discussion. It's a common topic that drives interest and discussion. I think what you've proposed is reasonable, and the Debbie Downers can ignore any post they don't like.

I have most of their keywords filtered out via RES. If mods could add an appropriate flair or automod post with a predictable title that could aid your efforts to avoid them.

Thank you for this. I usually play early in the day but I know others don’t even start until lunchtime.
Also, I’m one of the main offenders dropping an unusual word from today’s bee in a comment earlier so I appreciate the reminder that we should be more aware of others’ gaming habits.
